great receptacles and good value, lousy Amazon fulfillment
I’ve gone through dozens of these Leviton decora receptacles, they are great. I updated the receptacles in my 60’s house and have been installing additional outlets where needed. Still the same high quality that you would expect from Leviton products, I wouldn’t get anything else.But wow, I ordered these and it took over 6 weeks to get them, beyond the original estimate. The Amazon shipping bag was wide open, they hadn’t even bothered to close up the bag! It was astounding that the package got here that way. Someone at the Amazon fulfillment center in Etna Ohio must have been having a really bad day.

Branding on face of outlet
While leviton is a quality receptacle product. Unfortunately, I wouldnt recommend buying these for your own residence due to their logo engraved on the face of the outlet. I don’t want to see that.And the preview pictures on this product page are deceiving as it doesnt show the branding logo on the face anywhere.If your using these for a side job or commercial building, then they’re top notch and good priced.

Looks great and easy to install
The headline says it all, it looks great and very easy to install. There are instructions that come with it, to help you install it properly. #1 rule, always turn off power to receptacle first. We replaced our receptacles that are over 30 years old in this home we bought. What a difference in look and function. They look amazing and we are happy with it. We are using Leviton Wallplates with it and it looks sleek.

all of my receptacles were super worn out as if somebody was sitting at the …
When I bought my home, all of my receptacles were super worn out as if somebody was sitting at the plug and plugging in and out a plug 50 times day; if your still not sure what I mean, imagine trying to plug something in the receptacle and its like either sagging or about to fall out. I replaced a couple already with the Leviton and I can plug things in the receptacle now and not worry about the plug falling out. Also, I gave it 5 stars b/c its not expensive at all for a 10 pack and I need a lot to replace pretty much all my receptacles. It also is more better looking than the octagon looking one in my opinion.

These receptacles were stained with some type of black grease. I tried to clean them but I couldn’t get it off. I’ll have to repurchase them elsewhere. Avoid this product.
