    Easy to set up, these bulbs let you set the ambiance with all kinds of settings. They are compatible with Google Home/Assistant and do a great job in drone old lamps I have that frame my TV.

    Decent bulbs at a low price, with a few caveats.
    I picked up 2 separate listing of DoHome Smart Light Bulbs, this, which list them as “Homekit” and another listing that listed them as “Matter” both bulb sets have the same sets of compatibility, these are clearly the newer edition of the two. The app they come with is pretty decently featured for a cheap brand, lets you set up the color scheme in a number of ways, hsv, rgb and color wheel options, color trueness… it’s okay, there’s a few named colors that don’t come out right, but it works well for manual settings and most named colors (Pink was the big outlier there from the standard smart device named colors – it was like a blushing blue). Brightness scaling is on par with the other rgb lights I have and with Merkury brand lights.For Alexa integration it’s got the standard issues that all the rgb light do, these are on Amazon’s end, not theirs. Amazon wants to add it as a Matter light. Matter is, in my mind trash, and Alexa will sync with the native app for the program, it just might take a minute after the skill is enabled. Voice control won’t let you use scenes you set up in the app, or let you cycle the lights like you can in the app. That’s on Alexa, not the app or the light, I have a number of RGB lights and they all have the same limitations.The only issue I have with these lights and the app is a broader issue in the app. These lights and the other set I purchased function identically within the app, but you can not set up a command group with the 4 bulbs in the same grouping, it says they are different products. That means if you wanted to have say a color cycle in the room with all 4 bulbs, you would have to set it up as two groups, and try to fire them off back to back so they are in sync better. That could be improved upon.

    These will suit your needs if you’re building a smart home
    These lights are working great and operate as advertised. The only downside it that they require yet another app to be installed on my phone. I was not able to connect them using the app that I use for most of my other devices, but if I’m being honest, it seems like most devices are requiring their own app these days, so I won’t hold that against it that much. Just be aware of that fact when buying these.Setup through their app was quick and painless. Over all these are good and we have no issues with them. They are RGB smart lights with whites that can be adjusted all the way from a nice warm white to a bright cool white.I’ve been making my house more of a smart home with each addition of smart bulbs like these. They’ve proved themselves a worthy addition to everything else that I’ve connected to Google/Alexa.     Cannot get it to connect! Gave up, trying another manufacturer.
    I am a technical person. I worked for Microsoft for 20 years on TV Tuner boards. I KNOW how to install technical devices. But for the life of me, I cannot get these bulbs to connect to the app, the wifi, to ANYTHING! I am super sad, because I really wanted to have the colors, like my son has with his Phillips Bulbs. (they are EZ!) But no luck. I’ve tried for DAYS. I’ve tried everything. Unless they are old tech and won’t connect with my router, which is new. I have no idea why they won’t connect, but non-tech people don’t need to deal with the work and drama of smart products that are DUMB. Super sad. If the people who make these want to change this review, please put some more instructions on the page. I doubt that would help, but worth a try.

    FINALLY a Smart Bulb That Works with Apple Home
    I am thrilled to finally be able to recommend an inexpensive accessory for use with Apple Home.I do have Lutron Caseta smart switches that do work with Apple Home. But they are expensive. So I have been hunting for a seller that has good priced devices that work with Apple Home.I have tried smart bulbs from Linkind. I have tried two different kind of Milfra smart switches. I have tried Matter brand smart plugs. All fail to work with Apple Home. For all of these, I have worked with the seller to try to get these to work and they all failed.This smart bulb works. And it works great! It was super easy to add with my Home app. And full functionality was available – I could choose any color, can select different temperatures (warm white vs.cool white) all from the Home app.And I can add this to automations and programs. So I use these bulbs to turn on when my wife or I get home – but only if it is after sunset. What a relief to know that someone makes reasonably priced accessories that work with Apple Home.
