Wonderful Product!
I was looking for a wireless power strip to control the Led lights for my orchids and found this one reasonably priced that seemed to fit my needs. I was not disappointed. The free app that comes with it is easy to understand and navigate and very easy to use. It even will allow you to use it with Alexa and Google Home if you have one of these devices as well as Wi-Fi. It’s slim and inconspicuous and perfect for my needs.

Simple to configure and easy to use
I initially purchased one of these smartplugs to automate a Christman light display. The configuration of the plug and setting up timers was easy. The performance was reliable and consistent. I have since purchased additional smartplugs to automate all Christmas lights and am quite impressed how much time I save each day during the season not having to turn lights on and off. After 3 years of holiday use, the plugs are holding up well.These do require WIFI access, so make sure your home WIFI is secure.

I love this thing.. Iâve gotten 2 of them so far.. you can label each of the inputs.. (including USB) and turn them on-off with Alexa or your phone app. Now.. not each USB individually turns on/off.. but the USBâs can be turned on, off independently of each of the switches, and each switch independent of each other. So one plug has my fan pointed towards my bed.. another my bedroom light.. and another fan towards my eliptical.. so while Iâm in bed.. or on the eliptical, I just tell Alexa. âTurn on Bed Fanâ or âTurn off Master Bedroom Lightâ. And it does it. Works great.

Don’t waste your time!
I’ve been using Jinvoo switches for several years. Connecting them to WiFi has been straight forward, a few clicks on the app and Voila! Connected. These carry the Jinvoo logo on the box but they are anything but straight forward. I spent half a day tirelessly trying to get both switches from the box to connect to my 2.4GHz WiFi network. Tried two separate networks thinking one might be better than the other. Did not matter to the switch, it simply could not connect to the network. I bought two packages of these switches, a four pack and two pack (needed 5 switches for my application). I left one of the switches at another location and the discovered the very next day was the last for return to Amazon for a refund. Four pack went back and I continued to work with the two remaining switches. Half a day of Googling what other’s have done to fix this issue and finding nothing that worked. I’m stuck with these two switches but I can warn others not to purchase this product and save themselves from the annoyance of not connecting to WiFi.

I have a dehumidifier hooked up to one of the plugs so that I can setup a routine or tell Alexa to turn it off/on. It was simple to set up (they give you a step by step guide) and simple to use. I’ve had more trouble with some of the single outlet controllers, but Jinvoo nailed the ease of use for this power strip.

Well worth the cost
I’ve actually had several of these power supplies for a couple years. The only issue I’ve ever run into with them is that they rarely turn back on when we get a power outage. I have to turn them back on manually. Theres a setting for them to turn back on but doesn’t seem to work.I use them to control all the plugs on my aquariums and the app does link to alexa so all the outlets are able to be voice controlled. Theres timer function as well which can be done in the app that it uses or the alexa app under routines. So far a very reliable supply for the cost!

Frustration – What are you willing to pay?
This works great — after you figure it out. Instructions are difficult to follow – took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to connect it to my Alexa. However, with some perseverance, I figured it out. Naturally, once I figured out what to do (on my own investigating)… I got it connected quickly and there have been no problems. The issue is not with the product, but instead the instruction manual and… it’s not “user friendly” technology.Product works great. The question just becomes – is the price low enough to forgo frustration and time.
