Excellent double-pole, single throw switch for 110 or 220VAC
The rocker switch itself is labeled 30A, 125/240AC, UL rated, IP55. It is double-pole, meaning two legs of the power coming in can be switched. So if you are using it for 120VAC, run the hot wire through one of the poles and run neutral straight through, or switch both hot and neutral. For 220V, run both hot wires through a pole. It does not have an illuminated switch. The cable glands can take up to 5/16â cable, larger if you take out the rubber sleeve. The enclosure has a sealing gasket, so it appears waterproof. The rocker switch itself is rated IP55, meaning dust proof and water resistant. I would not use this out in the rain, despite the âWaterproofâ description. If you are unsure of your application, look up the definition of IP55.Good switch, recommended.

Just what the coop heater ordered
My chicken coop heater’s switch failed due to the dusty environment in “hen-quarters.” As a result, I wanted robust replacement switches that I could mount in dust and moisture-resistant housing. It took quite a bit of digging, but I picked up these switches and an enclosure. I plan to mount one and keep the other for a spare. My hens deserve a warm and cozy coop! The switches are nicely made with easy-to-use blade-style connectors. If you have a need for an on-off-on switch, grab these.

Solid non-illuminated power switch.
These are not illuminated, so if you are looking for one that lights up, look elsewhere. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a basic power switch, this is worthy of consideration. The rocker has a solid click. Contacts also have a low bounce. This particular switch is a douple pull, so I can connect both the live and neutral lines for a complete switching circuit. There are times when also disconnecting the neutral line is necessary, especially in non-polarized plugs. Or, I can use both rocker contacts for one line ensuring a good contact, even if one contact fails.Recommended.

The red part breaks off
The red part breaks off after cycling the switch a few times. Not very dependable.

Nice switch but it was missing screws
This is a nice waterproof switch. I did have to go find screws at a hardware store because they were missing. But other than that the switch works great and is a great buy for the price

Works great
I have a shop vac that has a switch go out on it. I bought an exact replica of that switch and it lasted every bit of a couple days of use. I got this switch and it works great. I does not burn out over use and has been working great. I will note that this won’t fit a traditional shop vac, I 3d printed something that. would allow this to work with that vac. Great product and its very cheap.

Works as Expected
So far, so good. These work for me on a 12v 10A circuit. They feel solid and well made.

solved my vacuum motor switch issue
These are some heavy duty yet compact switches. I use various industrial equipment and one of them with constant switch issues are HEPA concrete vacuums that use multiple vacuum motors. Normally, these use the more commonly available 20 amp 120/240 switches but the contacts eventually become pitted and the switches self- destruct. These switches are designed for 30 amps so they have some extra headroom which should equate to longer life. They work well, fit where the previous 20 amp switches were and these work great.
