It’s crystal clear, I got this because I have an other camera of the same brand. So I figured if I got the same brand I would not have to pay an additional yearly subscription(sadly they make you pay for an extra subscription)It’s crystal clear you can view from your device as long as you have internet. You do not need subscription unless you want to go back and see what happened. You can see live view without subscription. Subscription is like $25 for the year not bad but sucks two pay that twice. My next camera will be a brand that if you buy more products of theirs you don’t have to pay extra

Great camera for the price!
I really like this camera. It picks up just about EVERYTHING. I was amazed how good the quality was! And the play back is awesome. I pay the extra mo they fee to have it save the recordings and it’s worth every penny… and since it was under $4 a month, even more worth it. I use mine outside and I have it just resting on the window sill. I would definitely buy more of these!

Works For Me
Easily installed with the included screws and mount plate. At first, I though the magnetic grip might be a bit week, but I found that it holds the camera in place nicely. It connected to the WiFi on the first attempt after I downloaded the app and complete installation. I found the picture was good in color and night IR vision but with maximum zoom (X8) graininess is very apparent. I use a PNY 128GB Premier-X Class 10 U3 V30 microSDXC Flash Memory Card, Class 10, U3, V30 micro SD (a bit of over kill, but they were on sale). Per the Imou web site for the Versa, I should get 8 days of continuous recording on the 128GB SD card. The detection and alarm function is a bit sensitive however, I don’t mind that. Worked well and priced well, I now have a 3 of them, first one has been on-line for about 11 months with no glitches. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the graininess at maximum zoom.

Going back
Easy to install, but this camera is going back. I have another camera from this company that works better but I’m just going to switch them both out. I woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep and I kept hear this tapping noise so I opened the app to try to see something couldn’t see around my living room because unlike their other camera this one doesn’t have the 360° view but as I’m listening I’m hearing the noise it sounds like someone is trying to get in my window I didn’t receive a detection notice(which don’t always pop up anyway Or is late notification) . So I grabbed what I needed opened my bedroom door and went to go check only to find out it was the camera, why was it making that noise I don’t know but as soon as I turned on the light and walked over to it the movement stopped but while I was standing there at the end of the wall it was still doing it very weird. Why stop when I turn on a light. Another thing I don’t like about this camera is the bright light that pops on and not so much when I walk pass the light. But when I open my bedroom door the light pops on but the crazy part is the camera isn’t facing my bedroom, it’s not showing anywhere near the camera it’s way to far so why is is detecting and sometimes I’ll get a notification sometimes I won’t. I’ll check it and it’s nothing on there but what it’s facing at. I’m sending this back.
