    Perfection on a reel! I love everything about Hit Lights. Well constructed, easy cut to length, adhesive on the strip makes is so easy to apply and is very secure! Brightness is perfect white (5000k cool white) and clean…not yellow! Great value and would recommend!!

    Just what i wanted
    Easy install if you are handy, i used an aluminum channel with milky diffuser to eliminate shadows and hot spots this also eliminated need for other mounting hardware as it came with diffusers, light is perfect without need for dimmer switch, i soldered all connections for permanent install, read a lot of problems with snap or screw connectors, snap or screw connectors probably would not fit in diffuser anywayTip: this particular strip uses approx. 2.5 Watts per foot so size driver according to amount of linear feet you will have on each driver, better to oversize driver as i read it will run hotter if you are maxing out driver or it will blink or not even work if undersized

    Decent color quality LEDs at a stable price
    I bought these for a 3D printer enclosure to make it easier to see what I was doing when doing detail work (like calibration), and since it was going in my office and I’m fairly cognizant of light, good color reproduction was important. These fit the bill reasonably well.The temperature is a touch warm, they work on a dimmer (though they do buzz when the voltage is between ~40–80%), and the color reproduction is reasonable enough that it isn’t bothersome, though I’m skeptical of the “90+ CRI” claim. The LED density is fairly high, and they put out a considerable amount of light without getting hot. The adhesive is working well for me. I have three strips directly mounted to bare plywood with thin wire joining each strip and the adhesive has kept them in place without any issues for over a month now.One thing I don’t love is the solder on the pads at the cut lines. It has a tendency to make the cutters slip to one side or another, resulting in one side that has a rather small pad for solder. If you’re not planning on cutting and rejoining them it’s a non-issue, of course.

    I like everything about Hit Lights. Well constructed. Adhesive on the strip makes is so easy to apply to the molding inside my closet and is very secure. Brightness is perfect for elderly eyes. Great value for the price.
