    Easy to install
    This is a nice set. Install is easy and simple. Doesn’t fall down. Guess those who complain don’t have a flat service or don’t prepare the wall and clean before sticking it onto the wall. Bright and colorful. Whites are a little bit off due to no dedicated white leds. But changing it in the future for a RGBW led strip is easy because the led strip is held in the diffuser with clips in stead of tape

    Overall good product, but needs more mounting tape.
    I read the reviews for this before purchasing and I’m glad I did. The actual LED’s are fantastic, but the tracks they come with are a bit lackluster.Do yourself a favor and order a roll of your preferred 1/2” mounting tape along with this, you’re going to need it. There is only a few small strips of mounting tape on the back of each track out of the box, so I put two larger pieces of mounting tape in between each piece already in there and it is very secure now. As long as you clean your mounting surface properly, it will NOT fall off this way.Also, the clips that come with the LEDs to hold them in place are absolutely useless. A huge pro tip that will save you many headaches: put some pieces of 1/2” double sided tape inside the track after you get it on the wall. I put a piece on every seam where the tracks meet to better hold them together, and one in between each meeting point. Once you go to put the led lights in the track, they will stick to the tape and you won’t have to worry about them falling out. The clips are pointless, don’t even bother.Another small annoyance I encountered was there is only one smaller track cover (20cm cover according to the instructions). So if you only have one inner corner, the very end of your track will be uncovered by about 20cm which is really annoying and looks silly.Other than those things, the actual lights and the app are fantastic. The covers snap on really well and diffuse the light brilliantly. I used mine to add light to a dark corner and they are plenty bright to read with, even mounted at the top of a wall. Lastly, the LED plug can be a bit finicky, so if it doesn’t work for you when you plug it in, try turning the connector around.Definitely a great product, would be 5/5 if the clips were actually useful and/or it came with more mounting tape.

    Best purchase I’ve made in a while
    We had some costco LED strip installed, along with diffuser strip purchased at Amazon, and it’s been functioning with mediocre light strength and adjustability. I bought this with the thought that it might be an upgrade, and BOY was this a HUGE upgrade. Light is strong, and very programable, app works really well with google home so now I can tell google to set light to different colors verbally, and the color accuracy and representation is excellent, it also makes soothing slow fade changing animated lights, and works with music. Basically everything I would want from an LED light source. The defuser works extremely well too so now the light looks so much nicer under the kitchen counter. (video of the strip light in action, I only connected it and didn’t have to program any color commands, it all comes with the app, the colors are more accurate in real life than in my video, since iphone does some weird auto color balancing)

    Looks fantastic but use screws!
    Easy to install, really looks like a nice diffused neon light but the adhesive fails after a few days even on clean/fresh painted surface.I think the channels should come with holes pre drilled and the kit should include screws.I get it … They want to sell it as a “no tool needed” install but it creates more frustration when the adhesive fails and your lights are hanging down off the ceiling. I just removed the diffuser cover every couple feet and drilled/screwed the channels to the drywall. Its been fine since doing that and wont remove a star because of it but I feel like screws should be included in the kit and optional for a more permanent install considering the price.Also, i had to order 2 kits and ended up cutting off about 10ft of strip. I wish there was a seperate power supply/driver i could buy to power the strip I cut off.Awesome product though. Really transformed my theater room!

    Adhesive does not stick for long
    Firstly the adhesive the tracks use does not stick for long. It feels very strong and seems relatively hard to pull off once on the wall. However, within 24hrs the tracks would fall off the wall. It seemed using the lights for a prolonged time seemed to speed up the process. But once off, you COULD restick them on the wall. But then it becomes a repetitive process which defeats the purpose. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO STAY ON THE SURFACE YOU STICK THEM ON.In addition for the 32ft model. Please be aware their instructions make no mention of the 2 16ft rolls they send needing to be used in a certain order. One of the rolls has a connector built in the end of if it for the 2nd roll to then plug into it, so make sure you inspect the rolls for which is which, to avoid putting on the end roll before the starting roll.Overall this Govee product is not worth the money in my opinion.

    The strip lights themselves are nothing special. However, with the diffuser for the lights, the vibrancy of colour is great. The plastic is easy to cut if you need to trim and go around corners. (Simple $5-10 hacksaw) The clips to hold the striplight in place in the diffuser are great. There are more than enough to support and hold the lights. My mistake was putting up the channels without measuring it out to where you can cut the light strip. It integrated with my Google home very easily. I can use Google home to change colors, brightness, etc. This is my 3rd Govee Product. 10/10 recommend.

    DO NOT BUY! I don’t think I have ever spent the energy to take the time to write a bad product review in years of buying hundreds of products on amazon.This light strip is so incredibly cheap; first, it’s extremely frustrating to put together. It’s a cheap led strip, like you can buy for 10$, with tubes you have to put together and tape to your wall with 2 sided tape. The interior does not come with anything to keep the led from touching the diffusion, so if you actually want it to look good, you have to cut double sided tape yourself for all the length. Then, you’re supposed to be able to connect more than one together to fill your whole space, sadly, the second strip didn’t light up after I spent hours putting everything together. I actually went ahead and bought a third one, which 3 leds were lighting up green no matter what color I put the whole strip. I gave up, almost 400$ later, took everything apart and put it in the trash, where it belongs.Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product.
