    I wanted to have an even lighting in the wall-mounted diffusers in my theater room. Smart Zigbee lights using multiple chips in order to spread out lights on the strips, which provide a more pleasing lights. I am very satisfied with the results and highly recommend this product.

    A decent experience for the most part
    So the product works as expected. I was able to hook it up to a Hubitat Evolution C7 Hub. I have full control of the strip and it seems to respond really well. Connecting it to the hub didn’t take more then 2 attempts and the hub just saw it. I did have to try a second time because i guess the Zigbee controller that is part of the kit quit broadcasting after a few min after i initially powered it on. I just had to unplug and re plug it in for the pairing process to start. The colors seem fine, though i will admit i am not a color snob and don’t directly care about how this compares to Phillips Hue strips.The hubitat hub sees the device as a Generic RGBW strip and all functions seem to work great with the controller provided.As another poster commented about the strip doesn’t exactly match the images provided. Based on the images provided i would expect this package to include 2 40″ strips, 1 cable to go from the Controller to the first trip, controller, and then the power adapter.Instead you get what looks like several smaller strips soldered together with wires directly attached at the beginning which plug into the controller and then just connectors on the end to attach extension cables. Honestly when looking at the strip it makes it look more homemade instead of professional. I think that because the one ends had to be manipulated the plastic cover insulator was lifting off from some of the electronics.With that said i want to be clear I actually do like the product for the price. It seems to be a good option when you consider it includes the Zigbee controllers. My hope though was that i could mix and match kits to get a good ratio of controllers to 40″ led strips. The zigbee controllers appear to be right around $30 each which means the cost of the strip here is pretty minimal for the 80″ starter kit.

    Vivid colors, true white. Easy connections
    Excellent color quality. The cool white is actual white not a blend of colors. Comes with connector. Make sure you get an RGBW controller to make use of the white. Like the Giderwel RGBW LED controller. I used the 4 zone controller so I can control multiple strips.

    Very poor quality alternative to the Philips Hue light strip
    This is WAY overpriced for what you get. You might be happy with this if you are just interested in saturated colors. This can do that, but if you are trying to match any other lighting, or mix specific colors, or anything resembling white, whether warm or cool, look elsewhere. Yes it can be used with the Philips system, but not very well. This is a VERY inferior product and not so much cheaper that it is worth the savings:1. The adhesive backing is a joke. It adheres to the blue covering, not to the back of the light strip.2. Maybe because the light strip material is tacky and feels like it wasn’t properly mixed in the manufacturing process. Dust sticks to it.3. The colors are very rough.. Trying to get the same color as the other lights in your system is impossible. The Hue system allows you to gang lights together in the app in order for them to produce the same colors, and this doesn’t work with this light strip. The colors are way off, and trying to match them is an exercise in futility. Even the extension doesn’t match the original strip it’s plugged into.Very disappointed. I’m ordering the Philips version. I’ll try to find another use for this strip.Update: I’ve installed this in another room without any other color lights, and am able to get a preset that isn’t too offensive for general use. The other lights in the room are all quartz halogen, which has a very even tone and pleasing warmth as it dims. Trying to match these to that warmth produces at best an ugly greenish red instead of yellow, and it only works as more of an exaggerated orange or red complement when set at a relatively low level.

    Not a great zigbee controller. Lights work fine.
    These lights are pretty much as described. I connected them to my Hue bridge, which was straightforward. While they do work *most* of the time, they occasionally don’t change brightness or color on command. This usually requires going into the Hue app and manually changing the light settings to force them to update. I don’t have this problem with any of my other hue/zigbee lights, including sengled 3rd party ones.

    Connects to Phillips HUE.
    I bought this hoping that it would work with my Phillips HUE setup. This controller is amazing, it connected first try and acts pretty much as the Phillips version. It didn’t require much set up to follow the preset I have made in the HUE APP. This is a way cheaper way to get strip lights into your set up than the HUE ones.

    Strip is alright, connectors are terrible
    This seller also makes connectors to go along with the strip. They are utter garbage, and especially infuriating because they trick you into thinking they work for a little while, then fail repeatedly. They are so bad, the strip gets a crap review too so no-one makes the mistake of buying either from this company
