    Great product, great price
    This is exactly what I needed. I wanted to install a light in my closet that would come on when I open the closet door. I ran this around the door frame on the inside (it happens to be EXACTLY the right length to go up one side, across the top, and down the other side of a standard doorway). Then I plugged it into an outlet paired with a motion detector. It works perfectly, and lights up the whole closet nicely. Also, the adhesive works great and it’s easy to apply this thing to the wall. Just peel off the back paper and press it against the wall.Btw, one of my favorite things about this is the mechanical switch/dimming knob. A lot of competing light strips use wireless remotes (that are all hideous and horribly designed for some odd reason). I needed something mechanical so I could leave it in the “on” state and control it at the outlet.

    great value
    I am using these in a decorative christmas project. They are working great. I really like the inline dimmer rather that the wireless remote so many come with. The color is uniform, and all LEDs lit. I’ve run it from about 100 hours, so its passed the initial “smoke test” with flying colors.

    Had an issue , but seller made it right.
    Plugged into a VERY good surge protector and blinked out a minute into its initial test. I have another of these kits and the strip is fine. The cheap power supply is apparently what stopped working. Either way, non functional product that I cannot return because the strip is installed. UPDATE: Seller quickly fixed the issue, and made it right. you cant ask for more than that.

    The connectors between the dimmer and LED strip were defective making the LED strip useless.
    I was very disappointed to see that out of the box the LEDa would not stay lit unless I physically held the connectors between the dimmer and LED strip together and even then they would turn off if I moved the connectors at all. Bypassing the dimmer resulted in the same issue, so it seems the connector on the LED strip was the problem. Unfortunately, this was purchased to use as a component to a gift I made for someone and I did not have time to wait for a replacement. In desperation, I ended up having to cut the two connectors in question off and splice the wiring. This allowed the lights to remain lit and i couls use the dimmer. This problem does not give me confidence in quality assurance for this product and I will not be purchasing it again.

    Shorter than advertised
    The good: the adhesive sticks very well and the lights are bright. The bad: They were only about 15ft long instead of 20ft and the adhesive is so strong that they easily tore during installation.

    Came with dead pixels. First strip is the one with no damage yet half the strip doesn’t work after the copper joint. Second strip has 3 dead pixels in the middle with a bad solder point.-edit (12/2022) Reached out to support and they offered me a replacement. Since they were out of stock at the time they gave me a refund instead. Unfortunate but good customer experience overall.-edit #2 (02/2023) After 3 months of use, the power adapter stopped working properly. The lights won’t turn off, it is stuck on the lowest brightness even though the adjuster knob is clicked in the off position. Since I got a refund for the product already I don’t really care, but it is pretty much unusable now without buying another adapter.
