    Works great, but I broke them
    I feel that these are nice monitor lights. Easy to set up, they didn’t break the way many do, and it was easy to connect to google home. I wish they got a bit warmer in color, but the cool white is good. Brightness control is good.Edit: I made the mistake of trimming them while they were plugged in and it seems to have damaged them. Using white colors makes them crash and reboot to pairing. It was my first time cutting strip lights and i didn’t realize. I have a second set that was a gift but I guess I’m using it now.

    Lights turn on by itself but I found a work around…
    The lights look good and they stick well to the back of my TV. However, they turn on by themselves randomly throughout the day which is annoying. I have them plugged in to the USB port on my TV. I checked TV power settings and my Google Home setup as well as the manufacturer app. Nothing. I have to unplug them whenever I don’t use them which defeats the purpose of having them connected to my smart home setup. I would go with another manufacturer of you’re looking for wifi strip lights.Update: Reluctantly, I connected the strip to an outlet instead of my TV usb port and I no longer have this issue.

    Brightest RGBWW Bad connection
    (In the picture is only 50% brightness White)I have 7 LED strip lights from different brands and this brand is the most brightest Especially the color.Brighter then, Govee and Salvanna.You want a good bright Warm White / Cool White RGB color LED light strip controled WiFi via Smart life App this is the one for you.One problem I do have is I’ve been having troubles with the connection on Smart Life app but hardly ever works on Alexa. (Picture shows Devices Not Responding). This is my second set of lights just like this and the last one only works once and once it’s on the connection freezes up and you have to unplug it and plug it back in to change the controls. I bought it again because the light is the best you can buy without paying a Phillips price tag but this second set struggles with Alexa but works well on Smart Life unlike the first set that only works once.If you can figure out or have a different type of WiFi where you don’t have connection problems like me, BEST LED LIGHTS you can buy literally for its price with white LEDs.

    *** Edited***After I wrote my initial review the dealer contacted me and offered to replace what had been sent . “Amazon sent the wrong product” based on the pictures I posted. A brand new light and cable were sent (see follow up photos) and I’m upgrading my review to 4 stars (minus one for the mix up). THIS second strip light is exactly what I was hoping for : easy set up in the app, quick Alexa integration and multiple bright colors including warm and daylight white. Definitely worth the price and will probably buy another.***original review***Speechless. Light arrived with usb cable that appeared to have had the controller ripped off of it. Prongs would not stay in the cable receiver and the strip would not light up when plugged in. Might have worked as a joke gift if we hadnt wanted something that actually functioned!

    Quick and easy set up!
    These lights were very easy to set up and add in The Amazon Alexa app. It probably took about 5 minutes to unbox and connect via Alexa. Now I can control these lights using Alexa prompts. There are probably 12+ color options available, including many variations of white.The light emit quite a nice bit of light for above my desk. I haven’t been able to get the lights to “dance” to the music when I play music from my Sonos 1 speaker which is in the same room, but about 12 ft away from the lights.The distance between the end of the lights and the control switch is not very long so if you are going to hid it behind something like I have, you may need to order a USB male to female extension cord.(Excuse the mess in these photos, it’s holiday time here and I am in the middle of many crafts!)

    Failed after less than 24 hours
    I set it up through the smart life app before attaching to my brand new nightstand. The next day it already disconnected from both smart life and Google home app and haven’t been able to reconnect ever since. Resetting does nothing other than the fact that the strip is now constantly blinking. So annoying especially since I can’t remove the strip anymore.EDIT: Their customer service is non-existent.

    Great Smart USB powered light strip
    I bought these to sync up to a smartlife powered smart switch I had installed in a laundry room. So they have been fantastic. I needed a USB powered smart light strip and there aren’t too many of those around that will work off wifi, so I’m glad that I found this one, and also that it would work with the smartlife app I already had.The double sided tape has held well for a couple of months now.

    Las luces en sí mismas funcionan bien, sin embargo, su aplicación “Smart Life” es, por mucho, la peor aplicación de Smart Home con la que he lidiado. Las luces aparecen como un dispositivo responsivo pero no reaccionan ante los cambios, intentas apagarlas y no lo hacen. Si se va la luz, comienzan a parpadear en rojo y tienes que repetir todo el proceso de emparejamiento otra vez desde cero, y esto ocasiona varios errores posteriores en la aplicación y en Alexa. Así que, si las desconectan o se va la luz mejor reinstalen y reinicien todo porque están muy mal configuradas para una autorecuperación. La luz se queda prendida pero no es posible apagarla a menos que hagas entre 6 y 7 clics lentos en el pequeño botón que viene con las luces (esa es la única manera de apagarla tras un error o desconexión, si no lo haces se queda parpadeando en rojo todo el tiempo). El hardware está bien, el software es un basura.
