These are exactly the same as “Gosund” brand and in fact these “GHome” switches also use Gosund app. They are fine and easy enough to set up and use. They do work with both Alexa and Google Home. I wish they lasted a little longer but we have to adjust our expectations to Chinese junk.

After owning several of their smart plugs, I decided to try the smart light switch for my porch light. I am just as impressed with the value as I was with the plugs. Remember you will need the white wire to power it. With basic understanding and some basic tools, installation only took about 10 minutes. Upon turning the power back on, I was surprised that I had to connected to Wi-Fi and their smart app within a minute. You cannot beat the value for price.I have read the other reviews, and am reminded that at this price, their tech support is lacking, and you’re better off buying from Amazon than their website in case you need to return. If you have basic knowledge of installing light switches and have the white wire, you should have no issues and not need tech support. Far better than paying $80 for a big brand. Using their own app, I have 4 plugs controlling different parts of my fish tanks for over a year now, and this switch has been scheduled for my porch light for over a week with the same reliability.I do not see it in Google homes support list, but it is in Amazon home. They have instructions to use Google home, but their own app works fine, set it and forget it.

These are easy to set up, Up to date, but donât survive an electrical hiccup. So think about what youâre doing in the hookup, especially in a multi-switch situation. These are not forgiving. That said, they last for years but have a couple on hand just in case.
