    Connectivity issues, playback feature doesn’t work.
    While I have had this brands smart lights in my house since 2019, I decided to get their cameras to replace the brand I have since it seems they are going out of business, Zmodo. The doorbells battery life is great but the connectivity is horrible. The mailman comes and the motion sensor doesn’t even pick him up. Also I had the SD card in but what does that do if the playback doesn’t even work. I got this brand because I didn’t want to be forced to pay a monthly subscription. I might have to bite the bullet and get simplisafe. I was trying to avoid pay for expenses cameras plus a subscription.

    Has flaws
    I have used Feit garage door cameras and lights. They worked fine and very pleased.I bought this to replace my Ring and annuslbcists. Doorbell is a horse of a different color. Is hardwired and is not charging (posts get 20 V) and not as sensitive to motion. Will need to deal with customer service further. Usually, customer service is nice.

    I upgraded my original Feit door bell camera to this one. Glad I did. Picture quality, sleek, modern design, longer battery life. The only con is unless you have your phone with you, you do not hear when someone rings / presses the button

    Could use a few improvements
    Absolute best feature of this doorbell camera is that it has no monthly subscription fee. Camera quality is decent, getting the stream to load is about as quick/frustrating as ring. App UI is actually pretty good.Biggest complaint is the mounting bracket, it is cheap and there is no third party support/knock-offs that sells alternate mounts. Dealt with the battery draining even though we had it wired, took a whole day of troubleshooting to realize it was the bent contact on the mount. Bent it back out and it charged.

    Bad design
    I have Feite cameras and doorbell. Love them all, but this doorbell is not good. Not very secure in mounting and wouldn’t work with front door feite doorbell even though this was to be on back door.

    Great alternative to subscription based products
    works right out of the box. easy install, quick setup. 3 weeks in, still has 84% battery. and subscription free.one small thing if you have other products by this brand, you either has notifications from all of the cameras, or none of them, I have not figured out a way to limit which camera to received notifications.
