Color at night. Not washed-out shades of grey. But if the camera is offline, what does color matter?But as stated below from first review, the app is very poor: Waay too many alerts. Plus shape detection does not work. Plus where app supposedly allows a free-form monitoring window to be drawn by hand across the field of view, simply does nothing.2021-05-03 went offline randomly and cannot be recovered remotely. For this reason, I will cancel my suggestion to our condo board to buy 10 and try to return the camera. Too unstable. Bad. Bad. Bad. Total waste of my time in evaluation. And, yes, I know how to setup a network. It is the camera. Instructions say to press reset button. I’m supposed to climb a ladder? This is an unstable camera. Please beware and be informed. Too unstable.When offline, camera stops recording creating huge random gaps in the history and, yes, recording set to internal card not cloud. So why did it stop? HaHa!Today, 2024-01-01, moved to a new home and transported same modem/router and this camera to the new place. So from the camera’s point of view, nothing has changed. Same hardware, same ISP, same passwords. But no connection! Why not? Fails with error “EZVIZ wants to join wi-fi network EZVIZ_F27227257”. That is an Ezviz network address. Checked ISP website and shows camera seen and connected. Thus the gateway to the cloud is open and running fine but the EZVIZ door has slammed shut. Why? No way to get help. I suspect EZVIZ retired the old URL EZVIZ_F27227257 to force us poor benighted, looser, customers to get the paid service. Churchill said “Never, never…. (5x) give up”. I say “never (5x)” do business with EZVIZ. It would be unkind to expand this to “Never do business with the Chinese” but I am not going to go that far. But almost…

Malheureusement cet appareil nous envoie tellement de fausses alarmes que je l’arme plus pour ne pas être déranger. Il manque le suivi des personnes aussi. L’image est de bonne qualité et l’installation est facile. Les commandes de l’application sont laborieuses.

Muy buena camara… cumple con sus funciones y es facil de instalar. La calidad de la imagen es buena y en la oscuridad se ve bien… quisiera decir que se ve excelente pero depende mucho del espacio donde se coloque y el area que abarque. Mediante la aplicacion de ezviz colocas alarmas para que suene en caso de que detecte movimiento y eliges la intensidad del volumen (suena bien para el tamaño de la camara) y los horarios en que deseas que suene. Localmente puedes grabar, sea por medio de un NVR o mediante tarjeta micro SD ya que la camara trae ranura. Puedes ver en tiempo real mediante la aplicacion y funciona con alexa y Google. Anteriormente la compre en $2,400.00 mxn, encontre oferta en amazon y la compre en $1,700.00 mxn. El envio y la entrega: Perfecta. Buena opción.

I have two ezviz cameras, this one C8PF is junk. Unstable, disconnects from wifi all the time, picture quality is very good, when it works it’s awesome, but it’s just not realible, maybe I got a lemon of a camera
