    Nice cameras & system, can only use wifi 2.4GHz…
    Day one of setup and use and everything appears in order and working great. No subscription fees!!! Just download the free app and im good to go. Video quality, motion detection, ease of setting up are all good.. but once I tried to disconnect the HomeBase 2 from ethernet and use my wifi signal instead, it became clear something was wrong. Not that they clearly advertised it up front, but the Eufy Security app tells me, HomeBase 2 can only connect to wifi signals of 2.4GHz… my modern wifi router is only 5GHz, and another is 6GHz.. so I can’t use wifi with this system, I have to keep it plugged into the wifi router using the ethernet cable. That is a big surprise and blemish on an otherwise great product.

    Better than Arlo for the price
    I had an outdoor Arlo system prior and had Eufy in my house. Recently sold the Arlo system to upgrade to an Eufy system. So far love it. Only issue is the claimed 180 day battery.. That is not the case, at 26 days and 46% battery life. Will need solar panels

    Terrible warranty/bad customer service
    If your looking for a great wireless camera for your property look elsewhere. Eufy cameras are nothing but problems, won’t charge in winter, full sun, or with addon solar panels. They miss key motions, record only 120secs, no Continuous record. Image quality isn’t close to 4k as described. I upgraded fro. The old 2C version to 330 version. Go with something like Lorex/flir, better all around system.

    Great Cameras AND no subscription necessary!
    Am very happy with these cameras. We are using them with WIFI and as long as the homebase catches the WIFI signal we can put these all over our property (provided the cameras are in line with the homebase). So far we are using 6 x 2c pro cameras and they all work well. We are also using Wyze cameras alongside these, but do not like having to pay for the Wyze subscription service. Will be switching to all Eufy cameras and getting rid of the Wyze. Eufy’s customer service was exceptional to us and every question/problem we had was resolved quickly and professionally. I can definitely recommend the Eufy 2c Pro. Don’t have any experience with their other models.

    TERRIBLE battery life, disappointing configuration options
    1. These are advertised as having 2K resolution and being HomeKit compatible. Reality: You can only use them at 1080p resolution when using HomeKit.2. These are advertised as having 180-day battery life. The fine print is that assumes 6 minutes of recording per day. That’s an absurdly unrealistic estimate. If you have such a camera facing a street it can use easily 25% of battery *A DAY* and be dead within a week. Even a solar panel will struggle to keep this camera charged. Using a direct line to a “wall wart” (5v usb adapter) may be the only realistic option in some cases.3. The Eufy app is insanely annoying in its notifications. They aren’t configurable at all!4. I wish I could configure the cameras to detect things such as my mailbox being opened or trash bins being emptied, but alas, not so smart.I’m disappointed but I still find the cameras to be a good value and worth having.

    The camera performs well during day and night times. It works with Alexa and Homekit with no problem, motion sensor is responsive.The reason I have to return them because the front faces of both cameras are so worn out and they look worse than my 3 years old Arlo!

    Really like this system, love the spot light feature when motion is triggered. Battery so far is great , system has been installed for 3 weeks now and the camera over my garage has been triggered a lot battery has not moved from 100%. So far very impressed . Notification is within second of system being triggered. Would definitely recommend
