This Energetic Matter LED Smart Bulb exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of the bulb is excellent, with vibrant color-changing options and smooth transitions from warm to cool white (2700K-6500K). I love that it’s dimmable, making it perfect for any setting. Connecting it to Apple Home was quick and easy, so I can control it hands-free or even set schedules. the one thing to keep in mind is that you need an Apple TV or Homepod to act as the hub, otherwise it cannot be controlled by Siri. Plus, for all the features packed into this bulb, the price is a huge bonus compared to other smart bulbs on the market. Itâs a fantastic, affordable upgrade for my home lighting!

Excellent product at a great price.
I’ve bought a few different sets of smart bulbs over the last 4 years and while I’ve not had any real difficulties with setup and like being able to customize my lighting as well as appreciating the extremely long life offered by LEDs in general. I’ve never been able to connect the lights to my network on the first try and having to go through the setup process again after a power outage is an unwelcome experience. These lights are the first ones I’ve purchased that use Matter over Thread and that have been compatible with Apple Home Kit. Every bulb connected immediately the setup for every functionality was intuitive and the thunderstorm that we had all afternoon caused the brief losses of power 4 times I didn’t have to do anything at all the bulbs instantly reconnected and all automations, groups, and scenes worked perfectly when the power came back on. All that for under $15. A four-pack is a great value.

Worse than the cheap Tuya bulbs
I thought Matter support was supposed to make these things more reliable and less hassle? Unfortunately between these bulbs and Amazon’s horrible Matter support in Alexa, I’m sending these back. Lights never all work at the same time. One is always left on or off. Sometimes they will turn off with 5 second delays between each bulb. And you better keep those QR stickers handy because there’s no way as far as I can tell to remove / re-add them without scanning the code. Horrible.

Works great but I had a hard time setting them up

It took 3 tries, That means I gave up twice as in two separate days then on the third try I got them to recognize. Now that they are, itâs a bit hit or miss, with google assistant. Sometimes I can tell google to turn them on or off or change color but often it tells me it canât reach them right now. It does work better with the google home app but, it still sometimes takes more than one try. I am still using them at the moment but the wife is not happy with the hiccups she has with trying to change color, brightness etc. Originally I was trying to get them to recognize in track lights on the ceiling and they just would not connect. Finally, I put them in a lamp next to me one at a time to add them to google home then put them back up in the track lights, They for the most part are working now, they just are a little slow to execute any command, but they do eventually do what you want them too. Having had many other brands RGB bulbs these have had the most hiccups in set up. Now that they are set up itâs better but It was not easy to get here.
