Excellent for smart-home setup
These are great! It’s a fantastic option for a Z-Wave compatible controller / hub. This is, IMHO, the perfect option to have lights that you can still control via the physical switch like a “normal” light switch, yet also control remotely with whatever your smart-home or alarm or whatever system is.We are replacing smart light bulbs since the light bulbs require using software to shut it off, which is annoying so these switches are totally the way to go.Installed easily by a professional licensed electrician who commented that he really appreciated the build quality and standard dimensions.Works great for the last 6 months! I definitely recommend these.

Simple & worked.
No problems with the switch. Wish the neutral wire was a little longer. Flawlessly connected to my hub(Smart Things). Can’t wrap the wire around the screws like other switches. You have to push the wire in the slots and tighten the screws.

New to me but it works
I was one of those people who thought that anything returned to Amazon actually went to auction companies and they never touched it again. Apparently I am wrong because although I purchased a ânewâ unit, what I received could only be described as âopen box.â To get to the point regarding the switch, the directions are clear and I had it integrated into my home Zwave network in a few minutes – and it works. It identified as a GE brand during installation (on my hub). No issues yet. I probably would have rated it 5-stars if the packaging was factory-sealed. I completely overlooked this in the description – this switch doesnât illuminate when itâs in the off position like some others that I own do. So if this is important to you, consider a different make possibly.

these are jasco switches, not GE
These are the awful jasco switches like were shown in a few ltt videos. That said, I’ve had 0 issues integrating them into my setup. It couldn’t have been easier. They even include a neutral wire with tinned ends. Easy peasy

Not holding up after one year of use
I bought a few of these a year ago, now one of them started showing issues. It now only works via the z-wave controller; the physical switch at the wall wonât operate the relay. I have concerns the rest will last.

Works well
I’m not sure why anyone is not giving these a great review. Nor do I understand why they are a “Frequently returned item”. They work. They connect to my SmartThings hub. I can control my lights. A couple of notes: 1) The model I bought is not a dimmer – just on and off – I knew that when I ordered them and they do just that 2) They are supposed to be able to sense the “in” and “out” – I had to fiddle with the wires and swap the “in” and “out” connections – it took 5 minutes. They fit in the switch box – keep in mind that ALL smart switches are bigger than a simple switch – you might have to push the wires around to make it fit. To be clear, neither of these caused any issue and are quickly handled.

Programing multiple presses NOT
Basic functions work, that is OFF and ON. Using HomeSeer 4. Don’t ever use S2 security, you will regret it in the long run. This device SEEMS to allow two or three presses of key (on or off) as a function for programming. The problem is, in order to ‘get to two’ you have to ‘pass one’. that is, two press causes the ONE PRESS to be performed, THEN the two press. Apparently they don’t allow going to 2 without ALSO selecting 1. This makes this practically useless to program for this advanced feature. For example, the switch turns ON a local light. Press 2 ON runs program X. If you press ON twice quickly – the light turns on AND then program X runs.

Make your house smarter…
I’ve installed 50+ of these at multiple locations. They are my go to for smart switches. Easy enough to sync with your smart hub. generally speaking, the one drawback is that they occasionally fail when their are line issue/glitches/surges. I have 8 running in my own home at the moment. Would buy again
