    I was looking for a product so I can turn my outside lights on when I get home late at night and that would work over a hundred feet from my gate to my house and this product worked perfectly. The unit is mounted up in the floor rafters and it still receives its signal. Great product!!!

    It did not work
    I had to give it one star to write this review. I had a licensed electrician install this and it did nothing.So I returned it. I am still out $65.00 . for the hour of labor.

    Remote has both an ON button and an OFF button.
    DEWENWILS Outdoor Wireless Light Switch. Simple to wire up. Advertised as outdoor but can be used indoors. Uses 120 volt AC power. Remote has both an ON button and an OFF button (not a single toggle button like some other remotes have).

    I’ve got this wired up with the lights in my attic. There wasn’t really a good spot to put a switch, so I threw this on there to try it out. It was very easy to install, and works exactly how it should. I will likely be ordering a couple more of these in the near future.

    Many different applications for this device.
    Be sure to pay attention to the wiring directions on the back of the device, and in the instructions. I thought the red and blue wires were the switched circuit wires, when in fact the blue wire is internally connected to the neutral (white) wire. First time I tried it, I tripped the circuit breaker. Fortunately, my mistake did not ruin the device. The black wire is the hot wire, and the red is switched by the device. The blue wire can be left unused and taped up. The white wire can be common to the line and the load.I ordered this to turn our swimming pool filter pump on and off. The switch is located in the garage, and with this device, I can switch it from in the house, without having to run out to the garage.The pump that I am switching is ¾ horse power. I believe that is too much for the rating of the contacts in this remote device. It is not really designed to switch large motors. So I have the device wired to switch a starter relay (contractor), that is rated for the pump horse power. The starter relay does the actual switching of the motor. The remote device is only switching the starter relay.It works well, and saves me some steps.

    l haven’t even used the product yet , and right away l am trying to pull out the battery tray from the transmitter module with no success, l am pulling with great force, fiddling with the China BS crap; andl don’t want to break the gadget… l am tired of these BS!!
