easy to install, works right away, responsive
easy to install, works right away, place the remote where you want with double face tape, responsive. some say it takes seconds to trigger, I say BS. they have a source of interference probably. mine triggers instantly. yes the inside pictures look crusty, it’s chinese what did you expect. it worked for 3 months so far, so good.

Perfect for what I needed
My garage has a 3-way light switch circuit, but I needed another switch in a 3rd location. Tearing up drywall and running wiring was a non-starter. This was the only wireless add-on I could find that would allow me to add another switch on an existing 3-way circuit. There were clear wiring instructions in the box for whichever type of circuit you were adding it to. I replaced one of the existing 3-way switches (the one wired to 120 power, not wired to the light fixture) with the included switch, and then put the wireless add-on where I needed it. Works perfect. I’m very happy.

Nice switch
Pros easy ti install but recommend reading directions.as only one red line out is used for an install with existing single pole switch.Would have liked a switch plate to come with primary switch. You only get one for the remote switch.

They lose Connection very often
I bought two of these switches, I installed one at my work and one at my house. They both lose connection at least once a month and I have to go to the main breaker and turn it off and on again for the switch to connect. I do not recommend this brand.

Great product but has one minor subtlety
This brand seems to work very well and I would buy again. I have one of the remote switch units where there is portable/installable toggle with a receiver unit you install inside a junction box. The other one I purchased was the remote 3-way with local 3 way replacement switch. Both work great. The only thing I would do as the manufacturer would be to swap the internal relay with a latching one. The impact of the existing design is that if the power goes out and returns, the 3-way switch always returns to one position with no memory of pre-power outage state. Where this would be an issue for example, is say the light being controlled is outside or in the attack and not regularly used. If the light is off (based on the position of the other conventional 3-way and the setting of the this receiver switch, a glitch in the power would reset the receiver to the alternate position which means the bulb would be on when the power returns and potentially go unnoticed for a long time, wasting energy. A partial band-aid is to set both 3 way switches such that receiver switch power position results in the desire power up state by toggling the conventional switch to the other position. You could even go one step further if you wanted by swapping the traveler hots at either location. (Consider the scenario where one switch is at the bottom of a seldom used attic for second floor stairway to understand). Anyway, the manufacturer could just switch to latching relay for little or no price difference. The other thing that would be nice is if you could purchase all switches and modules separately for a case where you want multiple remote switches controlling one bulb or vice versa (now you have to buy complete sets and have spare parts.

works great
Easy fix for an inconveniently placed light switch. If your current switch has a neutral wire in the box , this will work.Comes with 2 switches: 1 is remote, the other is wired. My only complaint is the remote switch is not set up to be placed in a regular switch box.

Cheap but not UL or CSA rated. No wallplate included!
Cheap remote kit and the components used reflects the price point. As another reviewer said, thereâs no way to ground it but thatâs probably OK due to its full plastic construction. In any case, itâs not a problem in older buildings where lighting circuits are ungrounded. This is neither UL or CSA rated, and thatâs likely because it lacks a ground connection and the fact that itâs limited to 7 amps rather than being able to withstand up to 20 amps like a normal light switch.Regardless, it works well as advertised (at least for single pole wiring), especially in the ungrounded lighting circuit I installed this switch in. But due to the cheap components used, I canât say how long it will last. If this was installed in a high traffic area, I probably wouldâve gotten an Insteon or Zigbee or Z-Wave type switch instead, but the light this switch controls wonât be used often, so I canât justify the higher cost for a brand name switch.Beware that this doesnât include a wallplate, so donât forget to buy it also!

Garage had two light switches: one by an outside door and one inside the door of the door to the house. I had to stumble down 2 stairs to fumble in the dark for the switch! Now I have this new switch on the INSIDE of the door from the house to the garage and it operates the switch by the outside garage door remotely. If you have a 3-way circuit (two switches operating one light) be sure you replace the correct switch. My handyman said the instructions were clear. And it works great! No more fumbling in the dark to find the switch!!!

Works perfectly. Wireless remote is a 2032 battery. We use daily at least 4 times a day, and have not needed to replace the battery yet. We’re on a few months now. So thankful for this idea, helped drastically with horribly places light switches. And love thay the original switch, is still functional.

My first review was a little bit frustrating because the wall switch stopped working in two months, but I received a message from the seller with instructions on what to check. They thought it might be a programming issue. But it was a different issue and easy to fix. I removed the faceplate and found that the switch had fallen off from the switch housing. Maybe somebody pressed it too hard. I put it back, and it works now. It’s a good product overall. Very convened.

The wired switch works ok, you can only control it from the bottom. The wireless switch is junk and hardly works

I have lived in my house for 20 years & the only switch to control the upstairs light has been at the bottom of the stairs. This was a fantastic alternative to expensive rewiring/drywalling! After figuring out my particular wiring & selecting the appropriate diagram for my situation, everything went very quickly! I love that there is a wired component that fits in the existing switch plate & a wireless switch (either installed on the wall or used as a remote control), now installed upstairs. It is now hassle-free light operation! ð¡ð
