    This is the one to buy
    After trying and returning two different sets, I am extremely happy with this set. Very easy to set up, great colors, great variety of colors and light display patterns and the adhesive is great, it does stick in place and I couldn’t be more pleased.The only con is that the remote is not the greatest, you have to have actual direct line of sight for the remote to work, so if your system is overhead on a 3/4 wall like we have, you have to stand up and get close for it to work.HOWEVER, the phone app works very well and actually gives you more choices. I recommend this set over any of the others offered – this is the one to buy!

    Last a super long time!
    Nearing my third year of having these up in my room, and they’re still going strong! I use them instead of my actual light since i dont like it, so they’ve definitely got a lot of use!The remote is definitely lost, and it was finicky and annoying to use, but downloading the app saved my life. Only thing i wish would be for the red to be a little brighter, but overall is great!

    BEST DECISION EVER
    I am OBSESSED with these lights. They are so easy to put up, the adhesive so far is holding nicely (they’ve been up for several weeks now). The app is super convenient as I’m always losing little remotes. I can turn them on/off or change the color/light pattern(flashing, static, strobe, etc) all through my phone without having to get up and find the remote that’s probably buried under a pillow somewhere. The colors are vibrant when the brightness is up and a perfect ambiance when the brightness is set lower. If you’re thinking about getting them DO IT.

    Good lights, one flaw
    We bought two sets of these for our two children’s bedrooms. The kids love them, and they do look very cool. My one complaint is they do not come with any connectors. You have to buy those separately. We bought 100 feet for each child and that comes in two rolls of 50. 50 was not quite enough to go around either of their rooms so our choices were to purchase the connectors separately or run the second set up and go in the opposite direction around the room, which looked a little funny where they overlapped. I feel if you are going to send two separate roles, there should be at least one connector in the package. Disappointed we had to spend extra money. And, the extra set of connectors does not come in just one or two per package, you have to buy a large amount that will never get used.I also highly recommend wiping down, possibly with water, where you will be hanging them. I did do a dry wipe around the top of their bedroom walls, but within two days, a portion was falling off and did pull off some of the paint. It went back up pretty well, and has held up the second time.The remote works well, but it needs to be pointed directly at where the unit plugs in. If there is anything blocking it, it will not detect the buttons being pushed.

    Excellent Customer Service
    Edit: The seller reached out after seeing my first review and offered a full refund. I am extremely satisfied with my experience with them and will definitely purchase again simply because they care about their customers and want to help.I first purchased these for my son for Christmas. Four months later they still work perfectly and are still hanging firmly around his room. My daughter wanted some for her room so I decided to purchase these same lights. The second set has been nothing but trouble. In the last 24 hours that we have had them hung up they have fallen down no less than 9-10 times. The only way we have been able to get them to stick was by adding double sided tape to them. The lights work well but the fact that this set will not stick is very disappointing.

    Exactly what I was looking for. Simple and easy set up. Lots of cool options. Easy to pair multple strips to the app! I got it up and running with the app and remote in 5 mins without reading directions. Going to order two more!

    Quality of lights is good but app needs improvement.
    The app does not do a great job of allowing you to select colors. There are three color parameters (RGB) but the only way to select colors is on a color wheel. Therefore there are a lot of possible colors on the hardware that are inaccessible due to the limitations of the app. There is also no easy way to save colors so you have to repack them on the clunky color wheel every time. I have used other similar products in the past that have better apps so i wouldn’t really recommend this one. The lights themselves are fine, although I was hoping they would be brighter than other options since it is relatively expensive for the length provided. They are essentially the same as all other strip lights on the market.
