    3 years of rough use so far and still going strong.
    This product is top tier.For a little backstory I have for of these installed in a shipping container on my property. They have been here for 3 years of extreme temperature… The container is not insulated so it is either 15-20 degrees colder than the coldest temp or 15-20 degrees hotter.*These lights have been in 135 degree temps as well as -5. By the way im talking about Fahrenheit I dont live on one of Saturns Moons*They have been wet on a number of occasion, as there is no vapor barrier in laymen terms that means condesation builds up inside the container if it it warmer in the container than it is outside. That condensation drips down on the lights and settles there during late fall and early winter in the mornings typically. With all that activity I have only had 3 individual leds have any adverse effects. They still work but are a slightly different hue than the other leds on the string*The adhesion was not great but I blame that on the environment and installed using clear silicon I believe that has played a role in protecting the leds from the water so if you plan on installing somewhere moisture may be an issues using water proof silicon. Use a tub of it to make a bead where you want the lights to follow and press the lights into it using painters tape to secure it until it dries. **** Use that little tactic at your own risk, I havent had any failures but who knows*I also had one remote stopped working however my dog Aether 220lbs and in the video stepped on it recently so most remotes wont survive that.*If you have multiple strings one remote control will handle them all however if you have other remotes on the same frequency for instance a roku tv remote, some of the buttons will cause your lights to change color, fade in it out, pulse etc.*They are incredibly bright, the video will attest to that and although you cant hear it because I dont think amazon allows copyrighted music on videos posted It was a whole vibe in here, had some PND playing, bass was out of control and the lights were right on tune with the music.A great purchase if you are in the market for LEDS.-Los Angeles Heathxn

    Great, good customer support
    Setting up the light strips was easy because of the adhesive backingAfter setting up the lights, it’s been 3 months since setting them up and they are still showing no signs falling loose.Unfortunately these light strips are not the best, I chose them because of the low price for the amount of feet. They still do very well, but there are some issues.The biggest problems is there are two sections that are not responding correctly to the rest of the lights.When the lights are turned to red, the rest are red, but when turned to blue two sections turn off, unless a lower shade of blue is on, then the sections turn red. When white, the sections turn green. EtcWhen I first got the lights, it worked completely fine, about 2 months in and one small section started going bad, now it’s another section. These two sections are on the same strip, the other strip that came with the box works just fine, so far.Update: Customer support handled my issue with no trouble on my side and can safely say they only problem I had had been fixed.

    After two years, still excellent servicelaterremote
    I purchased these lights for my RV in early 2022. I received them quickly and found installation easy and fun. I really enjoyed the versatility of the lighting, the brightness and the way they illuminated the inside of my traveling home. Two years later I moved out of the RV for a short time and when I returned, I couldn’t find my remote, making the lights useless. Knowing it was a long shot, I reached out to Daybetter to see if I could purchase a new remote. Within a few days, we had communicated a few times so I could outline my issue, and within a week or so I had a new remote in hand! No charge! Now that’s what I call customer service. They care more about my ability to enjoy the product than making an extra few dollars. I am really grateful and highly recommend this company for their product and for the service and attention that follow you after the sale…. even after two years!

    Great Value
    I moved into my first apartment and for some reason they didn’t have lights. I ordered these LED strips in place of bulky lamps that take up floor or table space. At first, these lights are awesome. They’re perfect to set the mood, we generally keep them on the lighter pinks/purples/greens/blues. The deeper colors are very cool but they can get a bit too much for my personal liking. One flaw is that the W setting on the remote is not a true white. There is a hint of blue in it so I use the light pink as my setting. My biggest complaint is the remote. I was never able to adjust the colors or make custom ones as the +/- settings don’t seem to work. The remote also doesn’t reach from across the room (16′ across). I have to be closer to the control, which isn’t the worst thing ever. Another complaint is that I had the power plugged into the same outlet as my TV. When the TV turns on/off the lights will change color, again not the worst thing ever but it is jarring the first few times.Overall, I think it’s a great product for the value. It covered my entire living room and some. It’s definitely long enough which was difficult for me to find since I have a larger living room. It’s also fun to play with the colors for get togethers and movies. I do recommend this product however I do want to be completely honest about the remote and some of its shortcomings.
