    ZERO STARS – Item provides a third the amount of light it promises.
    The light from this product is two thirds less than advertised. The product description clearly says this is a 3 pack of lights and they will charge you the 3 pack price yet the item arrives and is just one light. There for the “item” does not work as described. I returned the first order and tried again but got the exact same result.The “item” (GE CYNC Smart LED Wafer Downlight Fixture, Reveal CONTAINS 3 1-each wafer lights) only produces a third the amount of light it advertises as delivering. If you read through the product reviews here you can see complaints about this going back at least a full year.I suspect someone @ Amzn has entered an incorrect part # for the item and there is no one there reading these reviews with the intent of fixing problems.To even get this review posted I had to word it in a way that complied with their “only talk about the item itself” policy.

    These are great
    These are really nice. Easy to install and look great. I previously had some 4” versions of these and these have an improved junction box with helpful mounting brackets. I don’t particularly like their easy connect things but just personal preference there.All of the smart light devices I’ve had have a tendency to occasionally disconnect from the WiFi (have to run setup again) and these are no exception however these product designers have done much better than a lot of the cheaper options who add extra features with horrible instructions. Cync’s instructions are well written in clear English and the app is very intuitive to use.

    The worst smart light I ever installed
    I was renovating our new house and added these 4 inch wafers to 3 bedrooms, 4 lights in each and paired with the Cync smart dimmer. After 1 year of struggling, I’m finally taking these out. Connection is an absolute nightmare! They refuse to connect to WiFi and when eventually set up, will randomly turn on in the middle of the night. I have a Linksys mesh network capable of handling 200 devices and I have less than 60 connected. The WiFi signal is maximum in each of the rooms, yet they fail time and time again. I have reset, etc etc so many times and wasted countless hours trying to get these things to work.I have other smart bulbs e.g. treat life and have no issues, they work perfectly all the time. I thought by buying American rather than imported, I was doing the right thing but alas, I wasted my money. The app is terrible too, half the time it can’t find the Wi-Fi network, despite my phone being connected to it.Going to replace these with some cheaper more reliable foreign products. Sorry!

    Amazing lights
    Had them hardwired with an electrician and using the app it is great to be able to change the colors. Whatever color you last pick on the app that’s what the on and off switch puts it on.

    Poor software, loses connection, hard to set up
    Installed over 10 Cync Wafer LEDs in my remodel. Many times the LEDs do not connect to Wifi, and more importantly, when these wafers loose connection, it becomes nearly impossible to reconfigure. While the idea is great, the software LACKS greatly. I would not recommend. They are not ready for prime time. I am replacing all of them with normal 2700k HALO led wafers.

    Great lights, disappointing ordering (NOT a 3-pack)
    Returned the one light I received, it was difficult to find these lights in the big box stores so I ordered from Amazon. Advertised as a 3-pack for a premium over what the retail price would be, but due to the need to replace my ceiling lamps with an option to dim on the app it was worth it. However, I received 1 light, not 3, so had to return.Researched a bit more and found them at a Lowes in Scranton, PA and there were only 3 in stock, I ordered for pickup, got them, and they work perfectly. Very happy with my Cync lights, not with the receipt of an order of 1 light instead of a 3-pack. (One light retails for about 30, so over 100 for three lights was paying extra but worth it as they were difficult to find. Very disappointed when I received 1 light). The app, Cync, works great. The lights themselves when purchased at Lowe’s were easy enough to install, shutting off power at the box, removing the old lamps, rewiring the junction box (came with the lights) and installing the light. I am not an electrician and merely fixing up our house, it was easy enough for me as a DIY project. Synching to the app took a couple of tries (use the website to factory reset if needed) but now it has been done and good to go. We’re using the lights for a couple of weeks now with the Cync app.

    The lights work great!
    To all other customers complaining that only 1 light comes to a 3 pack: — the same thing happened to me, twice. But I kept calling Amazon until they made it right. The service rep I spoke with said they would try to update the packaging to make it more clear for whoever ships these out from the warehouses.Otherwise, the lights work well. I would give 5 stars for Apple HomeKit support.

    These Cync Wafer lights were easy to install and setup with the Cync App. There are certainly cheaper smart Wafer lights but in my experience always keep disconnecting from WIFI. Extremely happy with product.
