    Beautiful Lights, other stuff needs work
    The lights are beautiful, they are bright and vibrant. Each set of 3 led can be a different color. I thought it would be each individual one. The adhesive to attach the strip is useless. I originally put these on the back of my desk but they kept coming unstuck. I had to move them to a wall and use tacks to support it. They include 5 clip/tack things, they suck. I found it was easier to use a regular thumb tack. The power cord is incredibly short if you plan on putting these anywhere thats not right next to an outlet you’ll need an extension cord. The custom light shows are a cool idea, tho dont seem to be very user friendly. I also havnt figured out how to do custom show with strip and bulbs together.

    These are the worst.
    I don’t like writing negative reviews and honestly, I rarely review things at all however, I have to say as cool as these lights are. They are literally the worst I’ve ever used. It is a trusted brand and that is why I purchased them. I purchased them twice thinking the first one might have been faulty, they absolutely will not stick to any surface no matter what you do. I followed all of the instructions to the letter and even tried adding gorilla tape. They are so thick that when you try to bend them just the slightest bit it causes a pinch in the lights and then they don’t work. I tried contacting customer service and was basically told they would let their design team know and sorry about your luck for spending $65 on a useless product. I don’t think I will be purchasing anything from GE again. If you are curious about strip lighting and want to try some get the ones from Govee. If I could give these zero stars, I would.

    Not what I’ve come to expect from GE Cync
    I have bought hundreds of dollars worth of Cync products from different bulbs, indoor/outdoor plugs and now light strip. I bought these to put on my little bar that I built and am rather disappointed overall.- The adhesion is non existing and started to come down during installation. With prep and holding in place the strip still comes down under its own weight. I will have to use actual good double sided tape.- Comes with only one 90 degree turn. Which makes absolutely no sense why just one. Can not locate where to buy additional connector so may do as another commenter said and splice myself with my soldering kit.- There are some anchor clips included in the box, however, not nearly enough. I had to utilize the clips to hold the stip in place in areas where I had to get creative in making a turn. This left me with only 1 to make up for the inadequacies of the adhesion.- The lights are bright and colorful as with all the Cync lights. Your supposed to be able to change the lights by segments, however, I have not been able to get that to work yet.- I dont have much issues with the app itself. Had a few hiccups over time. Occasionally would have to reconnect lights. Think that’s more a light issue though.Overall I am not satisfied with this purchase. I would buy again with some much needed upgrades, if not I would break my norm and buy a competitive product.

    Yes! But…
    It is super easy to install, and the app is for slow learners. It is super easy to set and use. You can create a looot of light combinations. The only downside is the tape it comes with. It only lasted a few hours, and I cleaned up thoroughly before installing it and even pressed it for a while. My advice – buy a double-sided tape with better quality, or otherwise the effort to install it will be in vain

    I can’t help myself. I love everything that lights up this rope lighting is extremely nice and that I could work it from my phone is fabulous. I am 55 and totally useless when it comes to downloading apps and working any part of my phone that isn’t actually my phone but I hooked this up all by myself. I must say I’m proud but that actually means it’s easy highly recommend would buy again.

    Perfect accent light
    I set this up behind my TV to give it a little bit more of an atmosphere, and also just more light. I like that I can have a change different colors, customize the colors, or if I just need more light in my home, I set it to white.

    Ashesive back wouldn’t hold up a paper poster
    I wish I didn’t have to write a negative review because I like cyncs products. I have their light bulbs in different locations throughout my home and love the color settings and the apps ease of use. That being said, I give this product one star. Although the lights look great the adhesive was not tacky whatsoever. The light strip has a rubber coating that covers the lights making it far too heavy. The was no additional hangers to help mount the strip to the back of a TV.
