    easy to install & use
    I love the Cree Connect Max bulbs! I have been using them for 5+ years – at least 30 of them around the house at this point. Some indoors, some outdoors. Some candelabra, some classic. Some adjustable white, some full color. As long as I provide a good WiFi signal, I can have a new bulb installed and added to my app in <5 minutes.I've moved a couple times in that period. I took the bulbs with me and reinstalled generic bulbs at the old place. When I installed the bulbs again, they all connected and my routines were still in tact (note: I used the same WiFi name/pswd in the new place. Also, I physically labeled each bulb as I packed them so I would put them back in the same 'rooms' as they are named in the app.) Those that I wanted in 'new' places were easy to rename/reprogram to work as desired.I should also note that in the 5+ years I've been growing my collection, all the original ones are still working. They are all on for several hours each evening; some are on all night. I've not had any reach end-of-life. I only have one that misbehaves. Sometimes it doesn't follow the Routine automatically, and I have to manually re-start the routine. Not sure if that is a problem with the bulb or the Cree app or the Google Home app... or if it's just catching a weak spot in the WiFi since it is fairly distant.The Cree app is very easy to use, a simple interface with lots of options to control color, brightness, on/off routines, and group settings. That said, I linked all the lights to my Google Home. The Cree app is still on my phone in the background, mainly for setup and adding new lights. The advantage of Google Home is voice activation, and just having all the controls in one app (Cree lights, Nest thermostat, Google speakers, TVs, cameras). The color options in Google Home are a bit limited, but the Cree app is always there if you want to take advantage of all the features.My only concern is the availability of the bulbs. They used to be sold at Lowe's. Now Amazon is about the only place I can find them. I've built quite a system, and I hope that I can always get more!

    So far, I have to say…these are pretty cool. Easy to set up, has different settings for holidays, can even set timers. Cree is a trusted brand too.So far…I like them :)Ok, I’ve had these for 3 months and 1 of the bulbs has gone rouge….it will not connect NO MATTER WHAT I DO!!! I have messaged Cree twice, let’s see if they stand behind their products.

    I recently added these Cree Lighting Connected Max Smart LED Bulbs to my home, and I am thoroughly impressed! These bulbs are incredibly easy to install and connect to my smart home system. The app is user-friendly, but I prefer the SmartLife app which these work with perfectly.     So easy to set up!
    I’ve had smart bulbs before. Those required turning them on and off in a particular sequence to activate pairing. Horrible.These went to a pairing as soon as they were on for the first time. The app found them immediately and connected to my network. It was soooo eassy I thought something had gone wrong, but no.Works perfectly, and the yellows and oranges are brilliant!
