    beautiful color, but not worth the cost
    My expectations were a little high for this item. For the price, I expected higher-quality materials. This is in a very cheap plastic housing, and to make it look cool, I would want like 9 of them. For that cost, I could easily find a better product for my needs.Now the color combinations and gradients are pretty amazing to look at. No battery is included (18650), but thankfully it comes with a USBC option to plug in so I could test it out. I am not sure what I will do with a single planel honestly.

    Pleasing light, fun effects but buggy software and OMG $$$$
    Pretty cool but some major flaws.Bright, great colors on a circular display. Many modes: Choose a color, an animation. Looks really good.Issue one is the price. It’s crazy expensive and if I wanted an array of these, it would break the bank.But the really big issue is the setup, using their very, very buggy iPhone app. The instructions said to press the button until it flashes blue. It flashes magenta. Continued installation and it went to step 3/6 and stuck there. Went back and started again. This time it said it would flash blue, then after 10 seconds, green. It did and asked for the wifi password but the wifi name field was blank. Then the app crashed. Started over and this time it got to step 6/6, “Pairing in Process,” for 40 seconds and then, “Failed.” Had to go back to step 1 for the fourth time. Back to step 6/6 and again, the Failed” message.Unplugged and tried again. Step 3/6. Four minutes later, I gave up and started over. Again, it was the flash blue then flash green and again asjed for the wifi password but the wifi name field was blank. Ugh. Restart one more time: Flash blue, next, step 3/6.Finally seemed to get past 3/6 and this time it made it to “Connect but then said Failed for a second before letting me name it–and finally! It’s working.And it works well except I was not able to get the rhythm mode to work. It’s supposed to respond to music, but I could not get that to work. I presume I could solve that issue eventually. But for now, hard to recommend, especially for this price.

    Got this for my 16 year old sons Gaming setup and he loves it, the only bad thing is it wont connect to our wifi, but its good for color for his setup, if you want lights for a gaming setup then i recommend.

    Cool, Very expensive for what youre getting
    This is a cool little display light but its every expensive for what you’re getting and the materials leave something to be desiredthe light itself is fully functional and uses a single switch to cycle through it’s preset modes. the light isn’t super bright but it might be a little too bright to be a night light.The build is very lightweight. It does not come with a battery but it is compatible with 18650s from the looks of it. I need to pick some up to test this functionality.Its a decent little light but it’s very expensive for what you’re getting.

    The Cololight LED Lights are a great addition to my home! They are easy to set up and offer a wide range of vibrant colors and dynamic effects. The hexagonal panels are fun to arrange in different shapes, and the music sync feature is really coolOne minor drawback is that the app can be a bit flaky at times, which can make controlling the lights a bit frustrating. Additionally, the lights aren’t as bright as some other options on the market.Despite these small issues, the Cololight LED Lights are fantastic, and add a lot of personality to my bedroom

    A fun and unusual LED decor panel
    This is a fun novelty lamp with an awesome moving multicolor wave. The patterns and colors can be changed and also respond to sound. A single Cololight can run off an 18650 battery (that I provided) which is rechargeable while in the unit, via USB-C. If you have more lights, they can be connected in a grid. Too bad they’re expensive, at 3X the cost of my Nanoleaf panels. I dropped a star for cost$.I have 80 Nanoleaf panels, each a 6×6″ square that can be arranged in a grid, something like this product. The major difference is the Cololight can do multiple colors within a single panel, while Nanoleaf is just one color per panel. Both look great, but the Cololight can dance more delicately.This is a fun panel, and I plan to use it long term as a flat base to display crystal prisms and other transparent objects.

    As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.I ordered this as I wanted an RGB light for my desk.It is very easy to use by just plugging in the USB-A to USB-C cable (or you can also use a 18650 battery, not supplied) and pressing the button on the front, if you press it several times the sequences change.If you download the Cololight app from your app store, the are so many more ways to control the light, colours and rhythms, I also connected it to the Alexa app which was surprisingly easy, and makes controlling the light a doddle.Supplied with the light are 2 connectors so you can connect multiple of these lights together to make a much larger display.As the back is magnetic, you can place it on any surface that magnets can adhere to, alternatively there are 2 double sided sticky pads supplied with the light.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of writing this review the price is £19.99.I always like to show pages from User Manuals if there is one, so you know exactly what a product can do, you can just pause a frame in my video to read them and zoom in if you need to, also the squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing are there so you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph or video, the small are 1cm square and the larger ones are 5cm.I hope you have found this review helpful.

    So this light looks good and when hooked up to other there are a lot of features for patterns.The colours which can be created looks great but to use this light you need to have it on the WiFi and I had lots of issues with it connecting, it took 6 attempts and a couple of power resets to get it online. I worry about if you have no WiFi can you even use the light?

    If your looking for a something to put on your wall and display lots of color or hues, then the Colorlight smart light, RGB is probably for you, they are magnetic too. In the box you get the colorlight, some connecting clips, 3m tape and a manual.The actual light platform is a square with disc shaped RGB, on its own, its colorful and you can change the hue by tapping the buttons. I am assuming that when you connect an additional unit together, they will all follow the same color pattern/hue generation as one. There are multiple color modes and multiple hue modes too. I really love the patterns and strobes of the hue, just be aware there are red hue patterns too, so be aware of this if you suffer with seizures.Also works with Alexa and google as well, so can congfigured in a variety or ways. No remote though, download the app to change the color and gradients and speed to your liking.Pros: Download the app for more, multiple colors, multiple hues, connectable to other lights.Cons: Needs more than one hue light to be really a standout RGB setup.

    The Cololight Mix light is basically a single LED that you can connect together with other Mix lights of the same type to create all sorts of lighting effects.I like that I can control everything through an app on my phone rather than having to press buttons on the lamp itself. There are a bunch of pre-set lighting modes, like music sync, where the lights pulse to the beat of your music. Or I can get creative and design my own custom colour patterns and effects.The Cololight Mix app offers a wide range of lighting effects, from cosy and subtle to frantic and spectacular. You can choose from a variety of pre-set effects, or you can create your own custom patterns. Here are a few of the pre-set effects that I’ve found to be particularly cool:• Music Sync: This mode makes the lights pulse to the beat of your music.• Breathing: The lights slowly fade in and out.• Rainbow: The lights cycle through all the colours of the rainbow.• Fireplace: The lights simulate a flickering fire.But the real fun comes from creating your own custom effects. You can choose from millions of colours and adjust the brightness and speed of the effects to suit your mood. You can even create complex patterns and animations. The possibilities are really quite endless!The lights themselves are lightweight and they seem quite good quality to me. The LEDs are bright, colourful, and of course energy-efficient. The magnetic connectors on the rear I found to be only adequate. While placing the light on the side of my dishwasher it clung on well but didn’t seem to like my fridge door so much and it slid down the door far too easily. You are going to need a good metal surface for the magnet to take hold, I feel.Included in the box are a USB-C cable and some connectors to clip together another Mix light. Honestly, I really didn’t need another USB-C cable as I have so many (I don’t know anyone that doesn’t have at least a handful of USB-C cables as they seem to come with every product these days), so I would have preferred that it was offered as an optional extra.All in all, I liked the Cololight Mix light. It’s fun, quite versatile, and modular so larger light installations can easily be achieved using the Cololight system.
