    Used with Wyze Doorbell v2 (the one that requires you to have an existing doorbell)
    First I wanna thank the other reviewer who also bought this for the Wyze Doorbell v2 and left a review stating it works. I never would’ve tried this cuz idk enough about electric stuff to know if my plugs have enough voltage, or if the plug is enough, or good enough for the camera, etc, nor do I have an existing doorbell, so thanks for doing that legwork. I immediately bought this after seeing that review (and the Wyze Doorbell v2 cam as well) and just hooked it up now and it works great! It’s literally as easy as slightly unscrewing the two screws on the back of the camera, make the metal part of the wire touch the screw, the tighten the screw until secure. Then plug other end into outlet. The camera has instructions for this as well, but figured I’d save a future person a few minutes and share 🙂

    Old house modern thermostat
    Our house is old enough to not have a C wire for the thermostat. So if we use a modern programmable one it has to be replaced every couple of years when the battery can no longer be recharged. There is a plug just below though, so we bought this to try. Took less then 5 minutes to install and has been working great since.

    Great for smart doorbell
    I used this for a Wyze doorbell and it works great. Nice long cord. It was easy to push the cord into the molding crack to hide it. Been working for months now, and I’m very happy with it.

    Worked with my google nest
    Worked just fine for my google nest, ended up having to remove the nest but i was able to verify that it works fine. It should also work with a doorbell camera but didn’t test that as it would be difficult to run the cable to my doorbell.

    Handy little unit to quickly hardwire a Ring doorbell
    There’s not much to say here- this is a step-down transformer to convert 110VAC household current to 24VAC, which Ring doorbells require. I needed one because my solar charger wasn’t cutting it in the winter, and I have a handy outdoor power outlet close to my Ring.This was very easy to install. Because my power wire was already spliced with quick disconnects for the solar panel, all I had to do was crimp on two female connectors. See the picture. I plugged in the mini transformer, routed the wire, unplugged the solar panel, and then plugged the new power leads into the Ring’s existing power wires.Just like that, I had constant household power to my Ring doorbell. I tested the leads, and they read 24.8VAC. This is within the specifications for the Ring. Of course, getting the Ring to charge in freezing weather is a whole other story. But this has nothing to do with this transformer, which works. A note: the stippled black marked wire is “power.” the unmarked wire is ground. Recommend.
