    Success Story – Twice
    I ordered the pack of three WiFi timers, they arrived when Amazon said they would and I promptly started setting them up. The first two set up without incident but the third was DOA! I mean it was completely dead right out of the box. The box showed no signs of damage, all three timers looked brand new.I immediately sent Century Products Inc a msg explaining just what I did here. They responded the next day and said they would promptly send me a replacement, which they did and I just now received. The replacement set right up without issue and I received a notification via the Smart Life app that there was a firmware update for it, I clicked it, it updated and I then set up the on/off schedule and tested it, worked great. So lets hope these all work for a loooong time.In terms of setting up the on/off schedule, they work like all the others I’ve tried and its a very manual process, it would be helpful if once you set a schedule, it gave you a way to copy that schedule to another day or even be able to transfer it to another smart timer. As it is now, each one has to be set up manually for each schedule, its time consuming and error inducing.The other feature that would be nice to have, and you will see this on other plugs, is a rotating plug. Since the plug on this time is offset to one end of the timer, it may or may not fit into the wall outlet you want to use, depending on the location and type of that outlet. For example, if you have a quadplex, which is four outlets in the same outlet box on the wall, you will have other things plugged in and this WiFi timer may not physically fit because it will hit one of the existing plugs. However, if the plug in it could rotate, you would simply rotate it so the long end faces away from the existing plug.Edit: (Dec 11, 2019) After setting up the replacement timer Century Products Inc sent me, I happened to pick up both the replacement and one of the original ones from my initial Amazon order and noticed that the replacement timer did not have the ETL stamp on it like my original batch did. This may also explain why only the replacement timer had offered me a firmware update. I contacted Century Products Inc again, sent them a picture showing the original timer received from Amazon and the replacement they sent me, you could clearly see that the original timer has the ETL stamp and the replacement did not.They assured me that even though it did not have the ETL stamp, it was in fact ETL certified however they said if I wanted to exchange it for one that had the stamp, they would. I asked for the exchange and they promptly shipped it. I will return the one without the stamp in a prepaid shipping box they said they would send me.If you stop and think about the great customer service experience I just had, twice, it far exceeds any level of customer service I have ever seen from any car dealer I have dealt with and just look at the difference in cost between a WiFi timer and a car. At some point, you will experience a product failure and it is then and only then you begin to understand who you bought from.Century Products Inc – thanks you for great customer service!

    From Colors to Schedules – Fabulous
    I did not review these the first time I purchased them but when I came back to purchase more a year later, I saw the “frequently returned” comments box. I don’t know why unless they have changed. For me, they have worked perfectly. They also have a fabulous widget for Android phones, which I use regularly.They are super easy to program and super easy to schedule and super easy to change colors (super easy LOL). I have them all tied in to our Google Home as well, so we can use the BN app or “Hey Google.”

    These ones are the ones that work, the heavy duty model.
    Don’t buy the cheaper model, these heavy duty ones, the bnc-60/133t work great and I’ve bought them a few times, theyve been working for years and I even just got more for more devices. The cheaper model, which has a different model number, does NOT work ok. If you are having a hard time, get the bnlink smart app, I don’t care what the sales page says, smart works great. Go to the Wi-Fi plug model option at the top. Plug it in, if it’s red, hold the switch till it flashes blue and red,that’s it waiting for your phone. Get your phone through the screens, it’ll ask you about your wifi info, make sure to put this in right because it’s gonna tell the plug the info, then keep clicking next until it asks you to confirm that it’s blinking, then click the circle ⭕ to confirm and hit next again and it’ll look like it’s scanning. Long as it’s still flashing blue red blue red (the blue of pairing mode looks kinda purplish, if it’s just BLUE that’s ON mode, and that’s not gonna help you pair) it’ll find it.Basically the trick is just making sure you’re chosing the WiFi version of the plug (not Bluetooth) and holding the on button to turn it into pairing mode. If they had a bit better work on the app I’d give em 5 stars because they just work that well in general, but the app, the fact that instructions are poor, etc, knocks em down 1 star for me. Just follow my instructions here, it’ll get you going just fine. :)Also, funny thing, one of the two boxes I bought was obviously previously returned, but Ive checked them and they work fine. I assume someone was trying to connect them via the Bluetooth option, which honestly these do not seem to have based on the specs. I’m pretty sure they’re wifi only and that’s what’s messing everyone up.

    These plugs are great for setting up holiday lights. First and foremost, all of the lights or decorations can be scheduled to come on at the same time, regardless of how many of the plugs you are using. With manual timers, unless everything is plugged into one timer, it is almost impossible to have everything come on or go off at the same time. With these, that problem does not exist.The setup of these plugs is very straightforward using the app on your 2.4 GHz Network. Once set up using the app, it is equally simple to control the plugs.I currently have 6 of these. If I decide I need more, I would not hesitate to purchase more of these BN_LINK WiFi Plugs.I definitely recommend this product.

    No he probado muchos Smart plug pero estos me han gustado mucho van dos veces que los compro en paquete y los utilizo mucho. No se si hacen lo mismo que otros pero en estos he encontrado funcionalidades muy útiles al grado de que uno de ellos opera mi Chapa eléctrica de la puerta de mi casa para automatizarla o hacerla inteligente. La calidad es muy buena y el único detalle es que la forma rectangular a veces no se adapta a apagadores dobles o múltiples haciendo que solo pueda conectar el Smart plug porque tapa las otras salidas. La terminar no es giratoria por lo que no hay mucho que hacer en ese tema y veo que la gama de smart plugs son muchas y hay otros más pequeños pero no se si pueden hacerse todas las cosas que hace esté como programar funciones ej al prender físicamente o por dispositivo se quedará prendido tanto tiempo y después de esperar se apagará solo y cosas de ese tipo. Por el precio han sido económicos y por lo que hacen han sido una buena compra. Conviene comprarlos cuando vienen en paquete y no individuales y estoy seguro que te servirán enormemente. Si los volvería a comprar una y otra vez.

    Actualización: últimamente he tenido problemas con la conectividad de los enchufes, cuando entro a la app dicen que están fuera de línea, sin embargo al revisarlos parece estar todo en orden. Aún no encuentro solución para esto. Le resto calificación por esta situación…Fácil de usar, solo se conectan a una toma corrientes y listo, yo los uso en México y no hay problema alguno. Seguir las instrucciones para aparearlos con el celular es relativamente sencillo sin embargo una primera vez llegó a ser un poco confuso, además de que las instrucciones vienen en inglés para que lo tengan en consideración. Emiten siempre una luz por lo que de noche en una recámara llega a ser un poco molesto, dado a que sí brillan algo fuerte. Su relación calidad – precio es bastante buena.
