    Edit:A replacement sync module came in the mail and I had absolutely no issues setting up and streaming live view or getting any motion detections.I would like an option in the app to contact law enforcement automatically when there is an intruder but over all it is a very decent app. Camera video quality is impressive, not the best but it is above average. My favorite is the flood light camera. That is by far the most impressive part of this bundle.Past review:A replacement for the sync module is on its way. This product is getting one star for now because it was very frustrating being on the phone with tech support for three hours trying to figure out why the sync module would not connect to the cameras. Turns out I was sent a defective item. Once I get everything working I will update the review

    Love the way these cameras work! Very good video and motion detection. Only thing I wish was I could see clips without the blink subscription. They still notify of movement but do not record the clips like during the trial of the blink plan.

    Economic home security during sales events
    I got the set for a decent price during a sales event on Amazon. I have had the cameras for almost 2 months. The video quality is not as great as I’d like but works for what I need. Zooming in on video feed is nice but not very useful with the lack of video quality. I’m not a big fan of the delay for video recording during motion activation. But luckily haven’t missed anything of importance yet. I just hope I don’t miss an important event should something happen. I’m sure activation can improve with updates. Batteries on cameras and doorbell are holding up so far. The only issue I’m having is with the separate wireless floodlight mount I ordered. I’ve had less then a month of use on the floodlight mount and I am already getting a low battery indicator. I’m hoping it’s a software issue or just bad batteries that came with the mount. I returned the wired floodlight that came with this kit for the wireless floodlight mount and now I’m regretting that decision.

    Works as a photo eye floodlight when dark and unarmed
    Set up straight forward. I am a retired electrician so it was easy for me. I do suggest getting an electrician out if you have any qualms about installing. Set up mine with a cord to a gfci receptacle for ease if I want to move or adjust.

    Unreliable
    Half of the cameras stopped working within two weeks of purchase, no explanation why, just “disconnected”.I wrote a review of the doorbell as well, it was the most reliable of the system working (at most) between 30-40% of the time.These cameras are far worse, trust me, wireless security systems are not reliable or secure.These cameras were all mounted on the same level and less than 30ft of a super high end nighthawk router and we pay for high bandwidth internet service. Even with ideal installation, high bandwidth, and clear line of sight. These cameras are effectively worthless when it comes to home security.The best devices we had were the wired outdoor nest cameras, unfortunately they no longer sell the wired versions. They worked over 95% of the time and the video footage was a streaming 30 days (paid). These blink cameras provide hundreds of choppy useless clips that barely capture anything useful.I would say if you can’t afford more expensive systems to go ahead and buy, but based on our experience I think it’s better to have nothing than a non-functioning system that gives a false sense of security and you’re out hundreds of dollars anyway.Do not buy.
