    Look for the “Smart Life APP” thingie, to live smartly.
    OK, it took some patience, for me, at least, with this company’s products, but it’s paid off so much for me.I started with their light bulbs, about a year ago, because they were cheap, but had all the high end features, and didn’t need a hub. At the time, I thought the set up was a nightmare. I went bonkers, trying to get the app to change the names of the bulbs and set them up in the config I wanted.When I first went to buy these plugs, the reason I bought these specific ones, was because they were the same manufacturer / app as the bulbs I had, and I wanted to stay “hub-less”, so it was a no-brainer. They had improved the app by that time, and it was much easier to set up and configure names, and rooms. I thought that most people would pull their hair out though, because I consider myself a bit tech-savvy.I just went in and had to switch some things around with my set up, let me tell you, they have it down now, oh boy. I was able to change the names of the devices, and reorganize room configuration, without even opening the app for the devices themselves, the alexa app set up the whole thing. You may have to do the initial set up through smart life (idk, but if so, I bet that’s streamlined too), but I’ll be deliberately looking for these products in the future, for value, and ease of use.

    The best wifi plug I have seen
    This little guy has great features beyond any other wifi plugs. The set up instructions wants you to sign up with their App. I just used my own Smart Life app and clicked on + sign to add a device. Hold the side button for five seconds and you are connected to the plug in the free Smart Life App. very easy and quick. I highly recommend it.

    Handy dandy
    This helps alot to leave the room and turn the lights off once you’re in your car. (If you remember that is) Not to mention lights can be put in a corner and access from your phone. Also works with fans as well. Just about anything can be used with these.

    I felt this company wanted to charge me $50 a month (in a sneaky way) to use the app that runs the plugs. It asked me to set up an account, but said the membership is free. It asked for my credit card number! I didn’t do that and scrolled all the way down where it states the free membership lasts 10 days and if you do not cancel within he 10 days then you are charged $49.95 a month. In the fine print I read (but most people never read but click OK anyway) it says that you can cancel your membership anytime but there is no proration in the monthly charge. So, if you sign up and don’t scroll down all the way and see their trick, you will find the charge on your credit card but now you cannot get your $49.95 back. I returned these and purchased another brand.

    Christmas Tree Alight!
    So thrilled to be able to voice control my Christmas tree via Alexa than have to climb down behind the tree and plug and unplug it every single time! Yipee!! It’s exciting every time I say ‘alexa, turn on the christmas tree’ or ‘Alexa turn off the Christmas tree’! I know, geekly, but totally cool. Ok the product. It was pretty easy to set up. I think the instructions could have been written out a little easier to understand, but I’m old, so maybe it’s just me. I think it was good value for the 4 pack that I bought. I’ve used another one on a bedroom lamp, so it’s nice to tell Alexa to turn on the lamp prior to going to bed and it’s already on when I walk in and to just tell her to turn it off once I’m in bed and ready to turn out the light, instead of fumbling for a light switch. I have two sockets left, can’t wait to figure out where to put them!

    So easy to set up!
    These are amazing! I use the ‘Smart Life’ app with other products, and was looking for a compatible smart plug. These came up, and I’m so happy with this purchase! I plugged them in and they set up in 10 seconds. I also find the user interface of these to be much easier to use than Alexa smart plugs (which I also have). I can program an on/off light timer in seconds. For the price, the fact you get 4 is also amazing. I highly recommend these for price, ease of use, and app capabilities (again I personally use the Smart Life app but these are also compatible with Google and Alexa). 10/10

    I have had 8 of these plugs. With both sets of four, after a few months, two of the plugs disconnect on their own and will not reconnect. They work fine until they die.

    I found these round plugs to be more difficult to setup than the rectangular shape ones of the same brand. These plugs are usually easy to setup but this particular brand was very difficult to setup. I use to be a printed circuit board designer so I’m use to working with electronics devices. Once the device is on line it works well.
