The best security camera with excellent picture video quality and an intuitive app
This AOSU 3K (5MP) camera has exceeded my expectation with its clear video quality and having very efficient human/pet movement detection. It’s manual as well as tracking operation is very responsive for panning and tilting. Even during at night., it works perfectly. Its construction and design are very sturdy and durable. I really appreciate its audio capabilities and instant two talking using it user-friendly app. It does have multi-display to check more than one camera at the same time. However, since it is charging by solar panel, I had to relocate the solar panel to get optimum solar light to charge the unit. This app also monitors its charging and provides notification on screen about the charging level. I recharged the camera unit since it has most common USB-C charging port. It has versatile storage options, Local storage on Micro-SD card or cloud storage by subscription. It has an advanced features of intrusion detection, it gives an immediate notification. AI face recognitions of family members and by setting up notification manually appropriately, it minimizes sending unnecessary messages.

The AOSU 3K camera is very good overall, captures very clear video and is able to detect nearby human movement extremely well. The camera tracks with panning and tilting. When remotely viewing live footage it is very responsive and clear, even at night with the night vision capability. It also has the ability to hear audio, speak to an intruder and illuminate the scene very well. The camera seems very well built and sturdy. The app is easy to use and works great. I purchased 1 camera to remotely monitor my cottage and to assess how well it works, and I am now planning on buying more. The camera shipped quickly and in very good packaging. The only issue I had was with the solar charging but it was because the panel was just not getting enough sunlight in the original position. Once I moved it to a different location with more sun it starting charging properly. The support provided by AOSU, and Julie in particular, was absolutely fantastic. They were extremely responsive and were clearly working hard to solve my issue and make sure I was satisfied with the camera. Without requesting it, they provided me with a new solar panel to use, which was done by having me order the panel on Amazon, after which they instantly refunded the cost (in the end, there was nothing wrong with the panel). As I mentioned, the actual problem was my fault because the panel was not getting sufficient sunlight in the cold Canadian winter. Since moving it, it has worked flawlessly. I use a SD card in the camera to retain the videos. I highly recommend this camera and AOSU. Their support was outstanding. Communication with them was clear and concise and done directly through the app. If you want a great, yet simple to use security camera, this is the one – you will not be disappointed, but if you have challenges their support team will bend over backwards to help you. Really happy with this purchase!

I’ve got several mains powered Aosu cameras and I find they are really good and key to that is the app which I find excellent as it connects quickly and allows seamless control of the camera. I decided to replace my existing solar camera as it was a different make and it would then mean all my cameras were on one app.I’m not disappointed, this Aosu solar camera was a doddle to set up, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it remains at 100% charge all the time so the panel and battery must be good. Just like my mains powered ones it connects to the app quickly (it probably takes a second longer than the mains ones) and control of the pan and tilt operation is very good. It is way better than my last solar camera so I’m really glad I changed it and I recommend this brand when anyone asks (my boss has just invested in Aosu cameras and is as impressed as I am!)
