This Works Well
I like this mount – works perfect for the Ring 2 Doorbell. I would have liked for there to be a screen protector built in, and when tightening it to the door, it tends to bend a little so it may not fit flat on the door, however, I am sure I am over muscling it as well. Another downside is that you have to remove the entire mount in order to recharge the Ring device, but I do like that because of the mount, it is near impossible for the Ring device to be stollen. I would recommend this buy.

Only works on doors with a gap between the cloor and the door sill.
The good news is, the steel is strong. The bad news is, the steel is too thick for my door.The elbow that goes around the door is steel, but the rest of the mount is plastic. It appears to be fairly well made and easy to install, but when I tested the steel bracket, the door would not close.You need a gap of about 3/16 inch to use this mount.
