    Great security camera
    Great camera, catches pretty much everything and sends the notifications, just make sure you get a SD card that’s designed to handle 4k surveillance footage. I made the mistake of using just a regular SD card instead of this specific one. Other than that its a great camera everyone should have a camera in their home nowadays their simple to install and very cheap

    Purchased two of these and neither worked, with my system couldn’t figure out why and Amcrest support could not resolve it. Returned and purchased two other Amcrest cameras, they both worked fine without any changes

    I just love this camera!Let me start off with the basics. This is a top notched camera that’s built like a tank to withstand the elements, and it’s from one of the most trusted brands in the industry. The video quality is outstanding, even in low light.It’s powered via your network cable (be sure your network has powered Ethernet or you will need to use a power injector). It’s basically plug and play, and you can use it in minutes with the basic setup using their SmartPhone App.To take things to another level, you can easily configure it to work with most popular NAS systems (network storage) or with a router that has security camera support like a Ubiquiti (Dream Router / Dream Machine). For those who don’t want to dabble with either, you can get an Amcrest NVR (which I’ve never tried).

    Very high quality camera worth the cost
    Amcrest is one of my favorite camera brands. I’ve had a few of them over the years and they are still working great. This one takes my camera security to a new level. My old cameras are 4k, but this is even clearer than my old 4k cameras and it’s also faster. The video latency is much lower than my older cameras. The night vision is certainly a leap above my old cameras. I love the ability to have IR and the warm light for color night vision. It adds a whole new dimension to my capabilities. I use it with my Blue Iris surveillance system, and it works perfectly. The camera is built rock solid. But beware this camera is a lot bigger than typical bullet cameras.

    Outstanding Camera
    Overall this is an outstanding camera. I wish I would’ve been able to review it sooner but I’ve been bogged down with school and stuff. Anyway, I didn’t know off the bat that this was a PoE camera, so the only negative thing I have to say about it is, I wish they would have made it more clear that you have to buy a separate power supply for it to function. Other than that, though, you could actually film a movie with this thing if you wanted to! The image quality is magnificent! And it really does shoot in 4k!

It was a great and easy upgrade from my 10 year old Security Cameras. You can read the specs and all the features online, so I wont repeat them here. It is a heavy duty professional grade camera. In my case I am using a popular NAS device as my security DVR. I have other 4K cameras and without hesitation I can say this is the best and more robust.I don’t use most of the advanced features since my NAS is just continuously recording. What I wanted (and got) was clear sharp pictures and movies with audio.It is large and heavy duty, so make sure you are OK with the size before ordering. It is about 3-5X larger than the cameras included cheap kits you get at the big box stores.RECOMMENDATIONJust get it you will be happy.
