    Amcrest Doorbell Adjustable Angle Mount
    This Amcrest doorbell mount kit comes in three 5-degree angled black plastic pieces that can be used to change the doorbell camera angle up or down 5, 10 or 15-degrees total, depending on whether you use one, two or all three pieces. It worked great with the Amcrest AD110 doorbell I installed on our house to lower the angle by 5-degrees for a much better coverage of our front yard and deck. It was easy to install and came with the tiny #1 Phillips head screws to mount the doorbell camera backplate to it. I used two of my own #6 X 1-1/2 long stainless screws to mount the bracket and angle assembly to the clapboard siding on the front of our house.

    Works well. Straight forward install. Comes with all the screws needed for install. The only complaint I have is that the holes needed to install do not line up with the original plate so you will need new holes in your wall.

    Very disappointed with viewing angle
    I bought this wedge since the amcrest doorbell had a bad viewing angle for top to bottom. The installation was a headache and they included the WRONG size screws that were too big for the bracket holes. If you use the included screws, you risk cracking the plastic. I had to by extra ones that were longer in order to secure the screws all the way to the wall (i.e. #4 x 1 1/2″). Since they don’t seem to make 2″ screws, I could only use 2 of the 3 brackets at this screw size. Finally after screwing them assembly the viewing angle was still too high. However, it did make a slight improvement on the camera, so that does deserve at least 1 star. I suppose this is better than nothing, but this is definitely not worth the price based on poor design and cheap material. I’m really disappointed in amcrest as I’m a major fan of their outdoor camera products.UPDATE 1/29/22I was contacted by Amcrest about this defect. They offered to try and find a resolution for this problem. Given that they initiated contact to me and tried to fix this issue, I believe that deserves credit on their part with respect to customer service. So i’m adding a star to the total score based on this after sale service (now making it 3 star review). I still stand by my statement regarding the poor engineering design quality and incorrect tool accessories for this product. However, they showed an act of good faith for improvement, and I hope they will take this feedback into consideration for future product designs.

    There is no adjusting the angle with this. It may point too high up or to far down and there’s nothing you can do.
