    Quite pleased
    I’ve done a few projects now with this brand’s cob lights. Both the color ones and the just white ones. So far very pleased. I have 7 of these systems so far and only had 1 disconnect from wifi for a couple days. But unplugged it and plugged it back in and it went back to work right away. I’d recommend getting an aluminum track with a diffuser for these- not that it needs it, but you get that real professional look when it’s done that way, plus it helps with heat which will extend the life. Lights are bright and have good color. I’ll update this review once one dies, but so far is been going strong for a few months

    Strip Stopped Working
    Bought these earlier this year. Started using them in July. They somehow became faulty by November. At one point in the strip, the color doesn’t respond as it should for almost half of the full length. I never cut it to shorten it, so it’s the full strip.

    Garbage – could not add to network
    I have an extensive smart home setup and are well versed in setting up devices. Despite all efforts this strip was impossible to set up in either Tuya or Smart Life. The strip itself is not the issue. I connected the strip to a known working controller and it functions as it should. The problem is the controller – it is absolutely useless. Avoid if you are looking to integrate in a voice controlled environment

    Amazing Light Strip, Useless Remote
    This is an excellent LED strip. Very easy to install. Instructions are clear & easy to follow. There are limitless ways to customize different light settings. You can power the strip by the switch on the cable, the remote, the downloadable app or it even connects to Alexa & Google Assistant. The adhesive backing on the strip is strong enough that you won’t have to worry about them falling off over time, but also not so strong that you can’t reposition them if you need to. This particular strip was long enough to surround my son’s 37” TV with about a foot ½ extra. You can trim the excess off if you like. The lights are very bright & you won’t have any trouble noticing them. Again, brightness is one of the many ways you can customize these lights. There are a number of preloaded settings on the remote & even more on the app. You can set them on a timer or sync them to music. When I say limitless customization settings, I mean limitless! The only con is the remote. On the switch there is a small remote sensor that must be visible in order for it to work properly. This wasn’t the problem. My remote hardly worked at all, even when pointed directly at the sensor & just inches away. I would have to click a button multiple times for it to finally register. There’s absolutely no way it would work from across the room. Luckily the app works well & is easy to navigate. Having the remote work would be convenient, but I have no problem using the app. I mean, our phones are practically attached to our hands anyway, right? I loved how easy they were to set up. I was able to put them on without taking the TV off the wall. You could put these anywhere you like. It’ll take just minutes before they’re on & working. I’m really happy with them. Just need to make some improvements with the remote.

    Exactly what I was looking for
    I am in the process of furnishing my room with all new stuff and wanted some rope lights to light under the bed. Luckily I found these lights that are exactly what I was looking for. You get almost 10 feet of light strip with a sticky backing and a rubbery light strip with a remote control that enables you to turn the lights on and off, change the brightness, select from multiple colors. There are also multiple color modes which will change the light colors, brightness, etc. depending on the mode. There’s also two music modes where the lights will play along with the music. You can also set a timer for 1 or 2 hours to turn off automatically.The only downside I find with these is that there doesn’t seem to be any way to extend the length of the strip by adding on to it. That would be a great feature to have. As far as the remote operation, it works perfectly. I accidentally installed my lights with the plug end (where the IR sensor is) on the wrong side of the bed and thought that the remote wouldn’t work as well from the opposite side of the bed, however, it works perfectly and I don’t have to lean over or walk around to turn the lights off when I’m ready to go to sleep.These lights are awesome, but I wish there were a way to extend the strip by adding to it, or to operate multiple strips with the same remote. They are plenty bright for parties and things like that, or they dim quite a bit so you could even sleep with them on. I think this is the perfect led light strip, and definitely the best one I’ve tried so far.Check out the video. It’s kind of long, but I wanted to show all the light modes available so I used some copyright free music to help demonstrate all the functions available. Enjoy.
