Very smart switches! With a basic knowledge of wiring switches, it can be done very easily. These Martin Jerry smart switches does work with your standard original rocker switches. You just have to know or be able to find out which of your two (3-way) or three (4-way) switches are the “Master Switch” (the switch with the live wire connected from the circuit breaker), and just replace that one switch with this smart switch. For this to work as a 4-way, your original 4-way is always the one in the middle of the two 3-way switches that works as a relay between the switches. You don’t even need to remove your 4-way to find out when you look for the master switch. Turn off your breaker, unscrew and take out two of the 3-way on each end of the three switches, and cut, or disconnect the black wires from the black terminal screws. and make sure it’s not touching anything. Switch back on the breaker switch and use a Non-Contact Voltage Tester or a multimeter to check to see which black wire has power. The one that has power is your master switch, and that’s the one you need to replace. The one without the power is your remote switch. Then, cut the breaker again, and just follow the same wiring with the smart switch, and combine the white neutral wire together. Reconnect the other black wire on the other 3-way, and it’s done. If by mistake you pull out the 4-way, just look on the back with the 5 terminal screws. With a 4-way, one terminal is ground (usually green), two are brass colored for the travel wires which connects the two 3-ways, and two (usually black screws) that connects the load wires to and from both 3-ways. These are non dimming simple switches, so I guess it can work in conjunction with a regular rocker switches. This is great! Thanks MJ!

The smart life assistant in my life
After more than two months of use, I really enjoyed the changes brought by this smart WiFi light switch. It is now a very useful smart life assistant in my life . Not only does it look beautiful and stylish, it also greatly facilitates my life. It allows me to control my living room lighting in a variety of ways from anywhere (voice control/APP/custom schedule). By the way, its installation is very easy , it is more difficult to distinguish the complex 3-way switch wiring and configuration of the old switch . There is no label on it.

Good switch for the money easy to install
Being an electrician for many years I found this to be the easiest to install by just taking one switch out where all the other ones require you to do multiple switch location I do believe that this is the easiest one for the consumer to use however I noticed that the switch is just slightly bigger and becomes quite snug as you insert it into the electrical box I’m not in too enthralled with the plate that comes with it I usually just throw it away and use my own overall I believe this is the most adaptable three-way smart switch that I’ve installed

So far not happy and waiting for technical support.
I bought 20 of 3-4 way switches. Started installing today and on the first one I hit a brick wall. Instructions are poor and not very clear on the different wiring we might have in the old switches. Although it is almost the same in most. My house was built 9 years ago so the wiring is up to date. Anyway, I installed the switch as in the instructions and weird things started happening, smart switch on and a double click sound comes from the switch and the light blinks twice also, first the switch kept blinking blue and if I use the second old switch to turn off then the smart switch wont work with app any more on Alexa the switch says on and on the smart life app it says off so I figured may be I installed it on secondary old switch so I swapped it. More weird stuff hard to explain the combinations of what is happening so i am go to wait and see what support will do. I emailed them a short time ago and they should respond within 48 hrs now that is a bad start, to wait that long to see what could be the problem. For now one star, specially when I tried every combination I could imagine with wires and knowing which one is the hot one is tested and confirmed.

Worked perfectly in a 4 way circuit.
Very easy to install, if you can wire a normal 4-way switch you should have not trouble installing this. the only difference is this needs a neutral and it needs to replace the first 3-way switch in the circuit, the one closest to the power source, This will be the one that has power on the common terminal when the light is off.

My friend gave me one single pole WIFI switches previously, and it still worked perfectly so far.This 3-way non-dimmer switch is well designed as it work with my traditional 3-way switch (toggle one). They works perfectly. I broke both because my home circuit did have hit wire misplaced so I did short circuit and the safety solder inside the circuit blew up as intended, protecting the rest of the circuit. I bought another one, I fix the circuit and it works perfectly with a 4-way system swapping only 1 regular 3-way switch with this product.GreatThanks

This specific one does not come with Tasmota os. It needs to be flashed if you want to use it with Tasmota. Very fine soldering skills are required to attach the wires to the board. Flashing is strait foreward and the switch runs fine. Fits good in existing power wall boxes.

I purchased a two-pack of these 3-way switches with immediate plans to use only one and to have one as a spare.I also purchased a multi-pack of their standard (SPST) switches. When I opened both boxes, I was thrown for a loop by the weird appearance of their so-called ‘white’ switches. The are actually a notably translucent-looking bluish-white, a very different colour than all of our other Decora-style white switches. As a result, we cannot use these inside our home, especially where they would be adjacent to other switches. I returned the multi-pack of standard (SPST) switches and purchased a different brand but was able to install the 3-way switch in the garage where the weird colour is not an issue.The installed switch works well and, along with other smart switches we have, is working with Alexa but, because of the colour limiting its possibilities for installation locations, I can only give it 3 stars.
