Perfect for Ring Cameras in houses that don’t have doorbells!
I was trying to figure out how to install a Ring Camera on an apartment that does not have a doorbell! I got this, as well as a clamp-based door-bell holder.I was able to simply attach the two wires to the Ring (Gen 1 or Gen 2), route the long, thin, wire around the door, under the clamp, and plug it in, inside the apartment on the adjacent wall. You need to carefully tape the wire to the edge of the door so that it does not cause a tripping, or pinching hazard.This is much better then trying to remember to charge your doorbell every week, forgetting and having no security! This brings me great peace of mind.
