    Works great!
    Some basic wiring knowledge to remove the old and replace with the new. This was straight forward and easy to install. I did need to go pick up an additional wire that was not included. It works perfectly with my Google Assistant.

    Constantly turn off on their own or just stop working all together!
    Ordered 10 of these to use throughout the home. Easy enough to install and setup if you know electrical wiring and basics of linking skills in Alexa. The problem started within a day of installing the switches. Some would just randomly turn off for no reason at first. I thought maybe it was the Wifi signal strength at first so I bought an extender. Still other switches right next to the router began to turn off for no reason. Then some of them just stopped working even if you try to use them manually. They are just dead. Out of the 10 so far at least 5 of them have either stopped working or are randomly shutting off. At this rate you have a 50/50 shot at each switch working. This is a prime example of you get what you pay for, they may be a lot cheaper per switch but in the end you will spend more trying to keep them working.

    I installed these quite easily and they feel high quality and have quite a simple and solid setup process with Google home. However, due to their bulkiness, I struggled to fit it into the wall. Overall, quite an excellent product.

    One working great, other died!
    These were working great. I put them in to turn my outside garage lights on and off with the sunset and rise.I installed them easily with no issues at first. Now about a month later, one of them was shutting off randomly and now refuses to turn back on. Would have given 5 stars but one of them is dead and don’t see a way to contact the seller for warranty.

    If you look at my reviews you will see I have gotten a lot of wifi switches and this one is close to being my favorite.First off this switch uses the Smart Life / Tuya platform which is my preference for wifi devices because I have a ton of other Smart Life compatible products so it’s a single app and a single Alexa skill.Adding these switches was no different then any other Smart Life compatible product and was super easy, now as I said I have a ton of smart life compatible products so this is second nature to me but even if this is your first it’s super simple.Now the rest of this review is going to be based on my personal preferences when it comes to style, function and the install. A lot of other reviews on here seem to be critical of the product based on the personal preferences of the user and not that product so keep that in mind.First up I like how the product listing has an image showing you the dimensions of the product so you can check if your electrical box is big enough to accommodate this switch. A lot of electrical boxes prior to 1980 were a lot smaller than they are today and these types of switches are usually thicker than common switches that are not smart so if you have an older home you need to check that your box is going to be deep enough for this to fit.Second this switch uses a screw terminals on the sides I prefer this because when you’re replacing an existing switch odds are good it was attached through screw terminals so it’s very easy to replace The old switch with this one as it’s just a simple transfer of the wires I don’t like the switches that already have the wires sticking out of them because they take up room in the box and my boxes are on the smaller side so less wire is good for me.Thirdly these use a paddle rocker so it’s a physical press of the button I do not like the ones that use capacitive touch and prefer an actual physical press One thing I dislike about this which is that the paddle only goes down it does not go up so if you’re used to old switches where you press up to turn the lights on and press down to turn them off there’s a bit of a learning curve because it’s pushing down for both turning it on and turning it off.Now for a few things I didn’t like about the switch, first you cant set the preference of the LED where it on when the switch is on or on when the switch is off the way it’s set can’t be changed and it’s opposite to what I would prefer.Bottom line for $10 a switch you would be hard pressed to find a better deal here on Amazon or really anywhere for that matter. These are easy for me to recommend

    Broke after 4 months
    I bought two of these. They both broke at about the same time. The button to turn on/off stop working. So I’m here shopping for new ones. I have the Kasa and TPlink that’s been working well for years. So I’m going with those brands from now on.
