Works great!
This is now my go-to charger for travel. Fast and reliable I-watch charging ( faster than the standard type charger)! It is very portable and you cut down on cables you have to carry ( and the resulting entanglement ). I highly recommend

Works great!
I wanted a wired option that didn’t require a monthly subscription and this one seemed to fit the bill. Install was a breeze and the video is responsive and crystal clear! I didn’t know how much I’d really need the dual cam with package detection but now that I have it I’m not sure I could change to one without! The app itself is also fantastic, very easy to setup and laid out in an obvious manner.

Had to return: won’t connect to wifi
I have another Eufy product that I’m quite happy with, easy to use, no monthly $ubscription nonsense. Easy.I wanted this one to work. I’m replacing a Ring with the monthly $ubscription nonsense. And I wanted a wired device (vs my battery powered Ring). But this one just won’t connect to Wi-Fi.I’m fairly tech savvy. I’ve made the Ring and the other Eufy product work. I’ve checked online forums, Reddit, etc. But this thing just won’t connect. I’m sitting with it with my Wi-Fi router right next to it, and it says it cannot connect. I’m making sure it’s 2.4 ghz (vs 5), but it won’t connect. I’ve reset the device. I’ve reset the modem. All the trouble shooting. The last Eufy device just worked. No problem. After some hours trying and retrying I’m frustrated and have had to return.Maybe I got a bad device? When I plugged it into a USB (per instructions) it did get awfully hot in a spot on back. Maybe it’s a good product. I just don’t know because it won’t work for me. Your mileage (hopefully) may vary. Good luck. (I still like what the Eufy products are about, but I just need it to work, and unfortunately this one does not– so back it goes). Not sure if I will try another eufy.

Great Quality
Pros- Iâve been with the Eufy ecosystem for years and have many other cameras/ sensors by them. Love that this doorbell was easily added to our âhomeâ within the app.Works great and has multiple setting options including degrees of AI detection.Cons- There is no reason that any âWIREDâ option doorbell does not have 24/7 recording ability in 2024. I love Eufy and suggest their products to others, but my old Eufy doorbell had 24/7 recording but even it was a BestBuy exclusive version that not many people even knew existed. When it finally died, I was not thrilled about âupgradingâ simply due to losing this feature.Yes the AI detection is better on the new one, but there are still rare occasions where things happen within the cameras view but it doesnât always trigger an event or doesnât record the entire event. 24/7 recording makes it possible to scan the entire day to investigate these events.Eufy does listen to their customers more than any company Iâve seen, so EVERYONE should be pushing them for a wired 24/7 recording doorbell option.

Great door monitor with no fees.
Loved the price and the fact that there is no monthly fees. I had a Ring previously and after 6 months this monitor paid for itself. Love that there is a rechargeable battery if the doorbell wiring is not keeping up.One minor thing is that the doorbell in the hoiluae does not connect even though I have it wired to the eufy monitor and I have to use the plug-in doorbell chime. Seems so simple to do. I mean Ring has been doing to for over 5 years

My Nutone doorbell replacement
Eufy doorbell, security camera is working well. It does a good job of identifying humans and packages. I purchased this version because I wanted local storage and hardwired.I was able to retrofit my 20 year-old Nutone doorbell and speaker. I cut expanded PVC board to size and reused old wiring. I doubled up 4 thin wire cable into two pairs and installed 30 vac transformer.

Update: Great while it lasted!
Update TL;DR: Goes offline, and has to be manually reset. No way to install firmware update. Customer service is cooperative, but I’ve lost faith in Amazon renewed. Do not buy used.Update: When I wrote the first review I mentioned that the firmware would say it was updating, but never actually update. I would have to exit out of the app, to cancel the attempt. A few days later. The doorbell went offline saying it was updating, and restarting the app didn’t work. I had to remove it from the app, and turn the power off at the circuit breaker. It worked for another couple of days (without the firmware update) until yesterday when it went offline. It gave no reason. My wifi network was in fine form. There were no power outages, and the temperature was well within the operating parameters. I contacted Eufy/Anker, and they told me that I have a defective unit, and sent me a shipping label. I appreciate them being so quick to try to resolve the situation, but that leaves me without a doorbell for the next week or two, while I return this one, and wait for a replacement to be sent.I don’t mind being without a doorbell, people can knock, but the wires are just hanging out of the wall.TL;DR:While I haven’t tested all of its features, and can not know how it performs in low light, it detects motion and notifies me quickly. The app needs work, but the doorbell works very well for my purposes. I would recommend it.Long version:My renewed doorbell had minor scratches on the button that could be seen from more than a foot away despite Amazon’s claim to the contrary. It came with everything I needed except a micro USB cable and adapter to plug it into.I chose the Eufy dual camera wired doorbell because:1. I liked that you could see packages on the ground and the person at your door.2. It’s motion response and notification reaction time were very swift on the review videos on youtube.3. Free local storage in the doorbell instead of having to pay monthly for cloud storage.4. At $99.00 it was less than half the price of competitors. In less than 3 years the subscription fees of other doorbells pay for this one entirely!I live on the 2nd floor of Condo. There’s an open stairwell in the middle of my building with units on the left and right. My door faces the neighbors across from me. I don’t have to worry about direct light. At night there are 10 overhead lights that come on, and light everything to the point that you can’t even tell it is night. Simply put, low light, and night vision are factors that don’t affect me.Installation was comparable to other door bells. I liked that came with long screws for added security as well as guides and short screws for better suited for other building materials. The angle plate it came with was also beneficial, because it allowed me to cover the stairs leading up to my floor. The setup was fast and easy.Performance in terms of reaction time and fast notifications did not disappoint. It triggered as soon as it detected someone coming up the stairwell. I will say that people at a distance of greater than 6 feet, even in good light, aren’t as sharp. Motion blur is also an issue that should be addressed in future iterations. If a person is moving quickly they can’t be seen clearly. I haven’t had the chance to test the facial recognition yet, though I have imported the faces of friends and family from the albums on my android phone. Also, each time motion triggers the camera creating an “event” the built in AI attempts to get a picture of the person’s face which it puts in a small circle to the side of the recorded video clip. If you see that picture, “Lurch” is what I named my doorbell. You can also use a prerecorded message or create your own.The app needs work. Everything seems to work fine, but it’s not easy to navigate and it has it’s quirks. For example one would think that to adjust the settings, one could click on the 3 bars in the upper left and select “settings” from the drop down menu. Afterall, there is a settings option there. However, clicking on settings takes you through a list of features that Eufy’s devices have, without allowing you to actually change or even see the status of the settings. Instead, you have to go to the “my devices” tab at the bottom of the screen. It will bring up a video box with a play button, and you have to click the 3 dots in the lower right of that video box, and then click on the gear, to access the doorbell settings. Another oddity is that it names your home according to the name associated with the e-mail address with which you use to sign up (Dang still ended that sentence with a preposition…. sign an upward direction? Never mind). So my home is listed as “Junk Mail’s Home”. You can change the name. I tried to change it to “Oddslice’s Home”, but it wouldn’t allow me saying that the apostrophe was a character and emojis and characters are prohibited. So it is allowed on the default name, but not on a new name. Finally, and most importantly, I found a setting that allows you to search for a firmware update. It detected one, but when I go to install it, the app says it’s installing, but it lies! Automated customer support says I should power the device off and back on, but I’m not sure how to do that since it’s wired, and I don’t feel like I should have to disconnect the wires to install a firmware update.Despite all my complaints, it does what I bought it for. It picks up motion quickly, records, and notifies me. I give it 4 stars, because the app needs work, and installing a firmware update shouldn’t have to require contacting customer support. Knowing what I know now about the doorbell from my limited usage so far, I would buy the same one, and go so far as to recommend it to friends and family.

Camera is nice. The indoor chime wasnt working. Contacted the company and after 1hour wait on the phone they sent another one. The one they sent was the wrong one. Not the same model that I bought. Called again the company and after another hour to get a line they told me to deal with it since it’s compatible anyway.
