    Very bright, WIFI works with Alexa or Google
    Needed some lights for on top of my kitchen cabinets. I had some Phillips hue light strips that I tried. I really liked the look however, they were not bright enough for me. Not to mention the cost. So I found these Geeni LED light strips and took a chance. They are longer then the Phillips hue lights at just under 10 feet. I needed something that did not require a hub to make them work. These lights checked off all the right things and cost half of what the Phillips hue lights do. Not as many color choices as Phillips hue but, if you can’t find a color you like you should be able to get really close. Now hooking them up to the wifi was simple. Download the app plug in the lights once you get them to flash the app finds them and steps you through the process of getting on WIFI. Oh did I tell you they are very bright much more then Phillips hue. Just what I wanted. And the app has built-in colors and the ability to do schedule or scenes. Customize to what your needs are. I use them as backlight during dinner and until bedtime, then the dim down and become nightlights until dawn when they turn off. Easy to install, cut, lengthen.

    Nice, bright, and colorful!
    I purchased these Geeni Strip Lights as a nightlight to light our stairway going to the second floor. They are very easy to set up and install. I love that I can customize the color/brightness as needed. They work out really well as a timed nightlight for the stairs, as my husband and son both get up quite early for work and this way they don’t have to fumble around for a light switch in the dark.

    Neat, But Lacking Variety in Customization
    The lights work well and were easy to install. With the Geeni app, there are some customization options, but not nearly as many as I’d like. Five out of the available 9 scenes are different tints of white, something we can already control outside of a scene. There are other scenes you can change the colors for but there’s no control over the speed of the pattern.In the app, you can set up rules for turning the lights on or changing scenes, etc.The brightness if fine. If anything, I wish it could get dimmer.At first, I tried to stick the lights to the underside of the couch but the adhesion wouldn’t hold it up. I moved it to the bed, but the adhesion is gone. I still need to see if a rinse will refresh the adhesion or if I need to buy sticky pads.

    Easy to install and the light is bright.
    I purchased this to light a laundry area. I had no problems with the install of the hardware at all. I did use the included mounting brackets. I can’t say that I was thrilled about added yet another app to my phone but overall it works fine. The app itself was easy to use and it found the light strip right away and even asked if I wanted to add it to my Alexa device.If I need anymore light strips this will be the brand I buy.

    Love these things
    These strings are awesome. They are easy to install. They are easy to link up to a phone. They are easy to schedule. They have a wide range of colors. Super fun!The only thing is that they don’t like to be moved. Like, know where you want them to go ahead of time. You *can* move them, but the sticking power is greatly diminished. I ended up getting double sided tape to hold them up in my daughter’s room after they were moved several times.

    ordered 4 sets installed 3 sets when I tried to connect4th set, it would not light. I tried several times and they dont work. Yhey did flicker ehen you moved wire a bit, but will not stay lit.

    Understands percent commands
    The setup process for wifi/alexa was a bit odd but then everything I’ve set up with Alexa has been similar so i guess i can’t complain about that. The only disappointment was that it doesn’t appear Alexa control allows access to ‘light shows’ like blinking or rainbow color rotation, only solid on colors. Not sure why the software guys couldn’t accept a command like’blinking red’ or ‘rainbow’. These are available by pushing the button on the included controller, so that’s odd. It does allow percent on commands like‘Alexa turn light on green ten percent’, which is very useful. For the price it’s a bargain overall. I forgot to say It also allows renaming so you don’t have to keep the default awkward and cumbersome’Geeni Prisma LED Light’ name.. mine are going under the kitchen cabinets to light the countertops so i successfully renamed them ‘Kitchen Countertop’ and that works and is easy to remember. Doing that allows Alexa to respond to the command ‘Alexa turn on the kitchen countertop lights blue 20%’ Haven’t actually mounted these yet but the sticky stuff appears super aggressive so i think they’ll do great at staying put. Excellent product!

    Better off buying any other light strip.
    These are such a pain to setup, the app is super buggy and hard to use. These lights only work on 2.4GHz wifi, good luck if you have a dual band router without a UI. The adhesive on the back of these is not strong, and fell off the wall the next day, even after following instructions and wiping the walls down first. We ended up using extra mounting adhesive to hold them up. All of it was such a headache just to have them DISCONNECT and go offline from the wifi and not TURN ON anymore within under a year of use. They don’t even light up in order to try to get them to connect anymore. Do yourself a favor and buy literally any other light strip brand.

    Me gusto mucho la tira led, ya que es muy facil de configurar, no me gusto que solo duro 2 dias pegada y al tercero se cayo, por lo que la tube que pegar con otro pegamento mas fuerte, me gusto muchisimo que tubiera luz fria y luz clara ya que muchas tiras solo traen luces de colores, los colores estan bien me gustaria que tubieran un poco mas de intensidad.

    Una muy buena alternativa a luces HUE. Tengo ambas y estas son de buena calidad, no requiere HUB y es un plus. La iluminación es muy buena al igual que la app. Las coloqué en una ventana y se ve muy bien. Compre una segunda tira.
