    Replacement for a strip that failed
    My LIFX was flashing in a self-test mode, it looked like one of my strips failed, this replacement solved the problem. Discarded the failed strip, attached this one in its place, and all is well again. This is only the strip, my control unit and other strips (I have them chained) stayed as they were.

    No more the 11 to one controller.
    I installed strips around my king size bed, the light strips are very good however any more than 11 strips to one controller then the 12th strip will not work. After going back and forth with customer service, I did several troubleshooting experiments to finally figure out this was the case. I suggest that you use jumper extensions for going around corners or use the looping method, although I was about 2 feet short of my desired result, the lighting effect was still good.

    Overall I dig it
    I bought this light strip due to positivity about it in YouTube reviews. I own Phillips hue and Phillips wiz products as well. I like the colors and app for this product I just wish I could get the soft whites to better match hues. I actually think the soft White from hue is more aesthetically pleasing, but some of the colors on this light-strip are better than on hue. The other thing of note is that it sometimes goes offline and isn’t controllable until I turn it off and on. This never happens with my hue lights, but does occur with my wiz lights, primarily the recessed lights in my kitchen. I have strong WiFi, so this is a bit of a frustration. Overall I like it though

    As intended, works great.
    I had one of my lifx strip sections go down because the connector bent where I was plugging the power adapter piece in. This was perfect, quick and easy swap and the entire strip is back in operation. Just plugged them into the strip, went to the app on my phone, went into the light settings, and told it to update the strip count and presto. Awesome to extend the length or in my case, replace one of the strips in a lifx z chain. 5 stars.

    Sent me a used broken led strip
    I would think after making my purchase I would receive a brand new led strip Instead of a used broken one. I was super frustrated, what a waste of money. Do better..

    First item sent was obviously someone’s old light strip that had bits of wood or plastic left on the 3M tape that was no longer sticky and the strip itself was contorted. Dirty trash in a new box basically… I plugged it in for the sake of it and it only lit up partially. I guess some people send their old stuff back in the new box for it to become “warehouse deals” but it wasn’t “inspected” per the stickers on it. Anyhow the replacement arrived the following day and works great, replacing my old light strip that failed. Only complaint is that these light strips are very fragile at the connection points

    I was afraid cause when i plugged it, the extend didnt work, so i let them plug together, and unplugged the outlet 8 times, not too fast not too slow. And it worked. After you go to your wifi on your phone, add the new lifx, rename it and thats it!
