    Best Product of its Kind!
    I am an electrician. I have installed dozens of brands of smart home outlets/switches/plugs and they all seem to have various pros and cons. The YoLink brand was new to me until recently. I can honestly say that as long as i don’t see one of these just “fail” and stop working, they are hands down the best products for smart homes on the market and they have close to the lowest price tag. Installation is the easiest or tied with the easiest of all brands I have used. Setup and pairing with the cell phone app wins first place over all other brands I have used. And lastly, the Alexa pairing and functionality award also goes to YoLink. I have only used the Hub , smart plugs and the Smart Outlets so far. All of them work flawlessly and install with ease. I recommend these products.

    Great product for home automation
    I purchased my first YoLink product about two years ago. It was a motion sensor which I mounted inside my mailbox. When the mailbox is opened, I get a voice announcement through YoLink’s integration with my Alexa smart speakers. Since then I’ve purchased over 50 additional YoLink products. They are reliable, have great range and are modestly priced. My must recent purchase was for this in-wall smart outlet. I had a problem trying to add it to my system using the YoLink app on my phone. I send an email to their Tech Support and got a response within a few minutes and a fix within a few hours. Great products, great support!

    Plug Can’t be Inserted into Outlet Due to Defective Safety Tabs
    I couldn’t use this product because of the safety feature that makes it difficult to plug into the outlet was stuck or defective and just won’t let the plug go through. No matter how much you jiggle, both outlets are blocked and won’t let anything be plugged in. To be honest, I don’t know of anyone that appreciates these safety mechanisms that defeats the purpose of a power outlet. A standard outlet doesn’t have that so why assume that all outlets should have it. I can easily buy those plastic covers if I want to block the power outlet. I wasted time installing, getting aggravated after finding out that this doesn’t work as intended, removing it and reinstalling the old outlet.I have several YoLink products at home that work but because of this horrible experience, I’m knocking off 1 star for the frustration and annoyance, 1 star for that useless safety feature and 1 star for the inconvenience of returning it back to Amazon.

    The product is very easy to install a when she look up the correct way to how to install a wall outlet the app is very easy to use and I was able to integrate it with the temperature that yolink offers my room is now and and always constant cooled temperature and my AC unit will turn off when it reaches that temperature
