    Great part of Hue ecosystem
    I love the Philips Hue Play Bars, as I have the Hue application that syncs content on my Samsung TV with the lights. Additionally, Philips added the capability (via firmware update) to include my regular Hue color bulbs in the scene, so I can have potentially five different colors depending on the content. The play bars are set up with two at the bottom of the TV and one on top, with the two regular color bulbs to the sides of the couch. It makes watching TV or playing games much more immersive, and after using them with video or gaming content, it seems weird to not have it synced. You can also use these with the Hue Play Sync box, but that was a more expensive solution for my needs.

    This can get dangerously expensive so be careful.They are awesome thoughAnd the brand is greatJust….. bewareYou need a lot of things and it can add up to 1.5k+ really really easilyI think I spent around 2k for the whole setup3x these lights you see1x the Phillips strip1x hdmi pass box1x hue hub1x Apple TV (so the tv thing can actually work)Many hdmi cablesAnd quite some tinkeringI’m happy though

    Expensive, but quality and reliable
    The Hue Play lights are excellent options for accent lighting. I currently have three of them spaced out equally on the window sill behind my bed. It can light the whole room (albeit not quite to the ideal brightness of a fully lit room). I use these in tandem with an Amazon echo dot (2nd Gen) and some hue white bulbs to make my room really pop. Would recommend any of the Hue products i have tried, but would warn that once Hue has been adopted you will need to buy Hue products exclusively for your lighting needs (which can get pricey).

    I loved the product but unfortunately due to the rapid declining poor customer service i have decided to cancel my account I habe slways felt that the best customer service I habe ever had was with Amazon but recent transaction has left a horrible scar and I hope nobody else endures this but if you shop here like I did you will soon find out that this once small company that I bive built their trillion dollar company from what I considered the best customer serviced I have ever had now do not need to meet those expectations. Way to go Amazon. Likely this will not get posted because Amazon will want to let people find out the hard way so if not I will find another way to voice my opinion and if it does get posted it just a warning for anyone who has been long time customer

    LOVE these lights so much! I wish they weren’t so expensive, because I would buy so many more. I’m waiting for them to go on sale and then I’ll be buying at least another 2 sets of 3 for other spots around the house. You can sync them with your monitor so they react to the colors on the screen and match them in behind the monitor and change as the colors change on the monitor. Incredible!I can’t say enough good things about the lights!
