What’s the difference between Govee T1 backlight H6199 and T2 backlight H605C?

H605C is with dual-camera design and double the number of LED beads for improved color-matching performance, and the camera’s gravity-stabilization structure allows for easier installation, including on ultra-thin TVs.

Can other Govee lights sync with this backlight?

This T2 backlight can be set as the main device via the DreamView syncing function in Govee Home App, allowing other Govee non-camera lights to sync with it via Bluetooth for full-room color-matching of on-screen content.

Can the camera be placed at the bottom of the TV?

Unlike T1 backlight (H6199), T2 backlight’s dual camera uses a counterweight system that can only be mounted at the top of the TV.

My color-matching is a little off. How can I improve performance?

Firstly, adjust the saturation and white balance in Govee Home App. Next, make sure there are no other lights interfering with the camera, as bright direct light or on-screen light reflections can affect performance.

Is the camera stable on top of the the TV?

The dual camera uses a counterweight system, and once mounted, it does sit securly on the TV. Optional 3M stickers are included, and these can be placed on the counterweight’s silicone grip for additional attachment strength.

Flexible Corner Connector

Philips Hue is great, but it only allows for a single, continuous lightstrip run. Litcessory products allow for several! This flexible corner connector, specifically designed for the Philips Hue Lightstrip system, enables you to connect two lightstrips with a sharp angle and is more versatile than a hard 90-degree connector, which requires precise alignment of your two lightstrips. This flexible corner connector is 2 inches/50 mm long and can be folded over to give you a 1 inch/25 mm margin of error when installing your lightstrips.

NOTE: If you want to connect this product directly to the Philips Lightstrip Plus Controller, you MUST use the Litcessory “Controller to 6-Pin Adapter” to do so.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will Litcessory products cause my lightstrip to be dimmer?

No, Litcessory products do not affect the brightness of the lights, as long as your total lightstrip run length (lightstrips plus any Litcessory product length) stays within 10 meters/33 feet, your lights will be just as bright!

What is reverse polarity, and how do I fix it?

Reverse polarity happens when you plug in the wrong side of a 6-pin connector. The flow of electricity gets reversed, and the lightstrip won’t turn on. This is a common occurrence when setting up your project and it is easily fixed.

Is the total recommended length of the lightstrip (10 meters/33 feet) affected by the extension cable and/or an ethernet cable? Is it 10 meters/33 feet plus the length of the ethernet cable?

We recommend keeping your total lightstrip run under 10 meters/33 feet. This includes the total length of your lightstrips and any Litcessory products and ethernet cables. Some customers have reported success going over this limit, however we have not tested this.
