Very hard to connect to Amcrest Pro app (either 2 or 1)
My husband installed this camera in front of our house at a secure height and in the most visible location to monitor the front yard. We have noticed difficulty connecting through the Amcrest apps, Amcrest View Pro 2 and View Pro 1. The app can read the serial number and provide the IP address, but it still cannot connect for an unknown reason though 2.4 Ghz wifi. I called support service, but they could only offer basic assistance and could not solve the problem. I informed the last support personnel that my husband would try to resolve it himself through online research. If he cannot fix it, returning the camera will be our last option. This camera needs to be installed by someone with extensive experience in electronics. It is not recommended for individuals with only basic household experience.
