    Great for my Green Screen setup
    I needed something to light up my green backdrop while sitting at my desk and working from home. These do a wonderful job for that. With one light on either side of me, just out of view, I can illuminate the entire area behind my head and shoulders of a backdrop that is about 4′ away. The barndoors allow the light to be blocked from my shoulders and sends all the light back to the backdrop.If you are looking for lights to illuminate a full standing height backdrop/green-screen, you would likely need different lights or possibly two additional lights. These would also make good main lighting if you had to place them 5′ or so out front of the subject.The color of the light is adjustable along with the intensity which really helps a lot when trying to key the lighting using a greenscreen.They are stable and solid and would be great additions for any static lighting studio application. They are also lightweight and easily moveable. I have these attached to my standing desk – to whether I’m sitting or standing, the area behind my head and shoulders is always perfectly backlit. They don’t add any extra weight to the desk at all.

    Good Value for beginners
    This is a great low cost kit to help up your lighting game. Construction seems sound, but it is plastic and we’ll have to see how it holds up long term, especially in my colder climate. Kit puts out a decent amount of light with easy controls. The NPF battery option is great to have. Packs down easily and the case is relatively small and convenient for lugging around. The app can be a bit buggy from time to time, but a welcomed addition I wasn’t expecting for this price. It isn’t the highest quality, but I didn’t expect that at this price point. A solid purchase for your first lighting kit.

    These are great lights.
    Three is the perfect number for a pack. They are low cost, low energy and low stress. They pack up neatly and nicely in a really compact case. They hit a wide spectrum of harsh white, tinted yellow light, and a nice blueish light. Overall, they have worked really well for me for the green screen and product images. Their customer service is incredible. Might even buy a second pack.

    Great light, high CRI and easy to control
    This review is for the GVM-MB832.I brought these LED panel because of its even lighting right out of the box, unlike all other light sources. The panel ran about 50 Watt at full brightness but I only shoot in 50% normally, which is about 10 Watt. Heat dissipation is excellent, I ran it about 4 hours and it wasn’t even warm.The light quality is top notch, they are a true CRI 97+ with 97 on R9 (red) and 86 (blue) on R12 measured with a spectrometer.The added fan doors are really good at controlling light intensity and direction, especially when I was shooting painting and I needed the light to be evenly lit on the entire canvas. I can adjust the fan doors little by little to get exactly the amount of light I needed.

    In the end, I wish the stands were just a bit taller.
    Like these lights. We have an older twin-pack version of these that uses a single battery, but the light color and intensity are about the same. Bought these to supplement those, and they work well. Haven’t used the app/bluetooth thing yet, no real need for it, so I can’t speak to that.The stands are pretty stable, and at full extension the lights can get a bit wobbly so don’t plan to attach a camera to them or anything. I’d also be careful when outdoors in a strong breeze since I’d think that the stands would go over pretty easy at full extension since they’d be top-heavy.That said, we primarily use them indoors and they do a nice job of lighting things. The included diffuser isn’t very diffused, so maybe consider adding a sheet of wax paper over that or something (we ended up pointing them mostly up at the white ceiling and that worked well for us in the end).

    Awesome Lights Especially for the Price
    The GVM 3-pack lights are an amazing price for what you get. All 3 lights give off a lot of light and allow you to adjust the temperature from cool to warm and the intensity of the light. They have app functionality as well so you can adjust them from your phone. They’re lightweight but also very durable and sturdy. I love the carrying case that they come with that fits all 3 lights in one bag. So easy to use, setup, and transport.

    This GVM 3 Pack LED Video Lighting kit, Bi-Color Variable 2300K~6800K, is FANTASTIC!the good:(1) the case is *excellent* quality with thick skin and strong zippers;(2) the case holds the three lights and stands very securely;(3) the lights and stands are excellent build quality for the small satudio setup I have here;(4) I *love* the two dials on the back – brightness and temp – with their HUGE digital numbers reading out the levels so I can see them from across the room and make sure they are the same;(5) they are cool to the touch and don’t add heat to my studio;(6) they don’t buzz or hum or seemingly interfere with anything;(7) the barn doors work well and don’t flop around; they stay in place where you put them;(8) the stands are good build quality and telescope up to good height.the bad: nothing!my use: I use them plugged in all the time, but it’s great knowing that I could use batteries if necessary. I light my small green screen with them; the green screen sits behind me as I am at my desk, and I use these lights while instructing zoom classes with OBS/Zoom combo.the verdict: get them and you won’t regret it!
