Easy setup and great picture quality
Weâre very happy with our Reolink cameras. Both the indoor and outdoor units were very quick and easy to set up. The picture quality is great day and night. I highly recommend and we plan on getting more.

These 4k cameras are pretty amazing
Both my outdoor cameras (different brand) took a dump at the same time, they got moisture inside at exactly 2 years, which is coincidentally when the warranty expired. I got one of these bullet cams for the driveway since it’s a long chute, and one of the dual cam wide angle ones for the front of the house since it can see 180 degrees. Holy smokes you won’t believe the picture that these put out in 4k if you’re upgrading from 1080p. Kind of bummed about having to run a separate app for outdoor and indoor, but the quality on these is so good I’m thinking about replacing all my indoor cams and doorbell too. The manual and menus have a little bit of chinglish in them, but it’s pretty easy to figure out. I’m still working thru perfecting the sensitivity settings so I don’t get so many notifications, but it’s going pretty well. I’m super happy with both cameras, will recommend them to anyone who asks me from here on out.

Audio is a bit of a problem, will need a firmware update
The image is nice, but the audio is still something that needs a little work. The lightest of winds causes the camera to make unpleasant sounds , unlike several other cameras of theirs (and of other brands). Their more expensive cameras are fine. It feels like they’ll probably issue an update on the audio side. If you don’t care about audio, this is a 5 star camera.

CUSTOMER SERVICE = 1,000%
EDITED UPDATED NOTE: Customer Service reached out to me and sent me a “replacement security camera.” VERY IMPRESSIVE – especially since THEY reached out to me (not me complaining to them). The new system works with Alex, and I also have Google Home, so I have to hub systems (side by side) supporting each other. I updated my “RATING” from two (2) stars to five (5) stars – for “out standing customer service.”INITIAL NOTE:Impressed with quality of hardware. However, 3rd party reviews stated weak software interface with Google Home application. Setup instructions are not intuitive, and camera and ReoLink Application responded very slowly, but finally added to Google Home App.Connection between Google Home App and hardware worked only for 1 hour. I didn’t try to troubleshoot it because I shouldn’t have to babysit a security system that should work “flawlessly” right from the box after initial setup. By-the-way, when I checked on ReoLink home page about “Firmware” update, my model number didn’t have any information about it. It only stated that it works and interfaces with Google Home, and Google Assist. I then verified that that this model wasn’t part of a NVR Kit (doesn’t work with Google Home) since I purchased this camera as a stand-alone item.

Love Reolink cams, but…
These are a great buy. I have two that work as described. I love that I am not required to create an account with Reolink. I installed a SD card and connect it to your network and all is good. Found the device in their App and it worked great, Video looks great. However, the motion detection-notification doesn’t always work. Sometimes it works too good.Notification sometimes gets disabled and I cannot turn it back on. I have two Reolink cameras.***Update: Almost a year later and I cannot re-enable Push Notifications. This was the biggest reason for the purchase. The App keeps saying “Operation Failed” when trying to enable Push Notifications.***Update to Update 11/30/2024. To get Push Notifications, you MUST add a Short Cut. On the App Main Page, pull down to see/create a shortcut. Tech support did not solve this. I was tinkering and remembered shortcuts during one of the updates to the App. I set one and started getting notifications. So, User error?

Support sucks
this is a wifi stand alone camera. Hardware appears good quality. Connects to a wired network ok. Will not connect to wifi. Appears to require you to connect to a router that is connected to the internet before you can connect wifi – Reolink support says not so. I called support several times. I went through the brain dead AI stuff, and to human support who had no idea about the interface but could read perfect english from a script. I asked for a network engineer to call me – nothing. They said it was my camera and sent me another and same thing. I doubt it is the camera but the wifi communication parameters. It apparently does not broadcast a ssid so you have no idea if it is the camera hardware or being blocked. Neither my pc w/wifi will connect or display the camera wifi nor my iPhone – and both are using the Reolink apps. If you are looking for a standalone wifi camera, I suggest you look elsewhere until Reolink gets rid of their brain dead support. Oh yea, try and find someone in the US who is in charge of Reolink and who is responsible. Caveat Emptor.

Works as advertised and better than I expected
Pros:- works with the same software that works with our Reolink doorbell Camera- great detection range and video clarity, much better than my trail cams, especially at night- easy to setup and install- high resolution- Wi-Fi range is impressive- Can detect and record people over 100 ft away During the day (Havenât yet tried it at night)Cons:- Audio is on the low side and pops with a small breeze. The popping sound in a breeze is fixed by adding a “dead cat” from Amazon: https://a.co/d/4LTxr69Overall:- I’m very happy with it and everything on it works as advertised.

Wifi-6/5-Ghz is great, night vision dissapointing
I have many Cams, this is my first Wifi6/5Ghz Cam and I must say I am impressed! The footage is almost real-time and the ping to this device is < 50ms at all times and very reliable. Compare to my other 2.4Ghz cams there is always a delay and stuttering even with the best ones. The only thing disappointing was the night vision otherwise It would be perfect. Would love to see a new model with the same specs but better night vision sensor, like with F1.0 perhaps.

Couldn’t ask for more; real 4k, no motion skipping, easy to setup and install, durable with metal case all around. I’ve been with Lorex for years but with glitches and lagging in addition to bad images quality I’m happy i went for Reolink. Highly recommended.

WOW, I should’ve bought this sooner. If you look at the photos, the one that is terrible is my old Security Camera, cheapo Chinese knock off. It looked ok when 1st bought but didn’t last a year before the Pan & Tilt broke on it due to the very flimsy wires inside (I believe it didn’t have more than four strands. I had to open & resolder a wire to get it working, shortly after the lens had hairline cracks all over making it hard to see anything (as you can see in the photo)…..ANYWAY…. This Reolink is a great step up in quality. Yes it doesn’t have pan & Tilt, but it also won’t break from flimsy internal wires. I like the metal housing and the IP67 rating. I hope it’ll last our (sometimes) -40°C to -50°C winters. I will report on this after this winter season. So far the wifi connection seems stable enough that I haven’t lost connectivity.I only have ONE COMPLAINT, and it’s mostly due to the design of this camera. I wanted to mount this near my old spot on a vertical wall, but to see the driveway, I had to tilt the camera to the right and hoped I’d have that option, but the Antennae’s totally make this impossible, ya the camera tilts, but only up & down and very little from side to side. I needed at least 70° of tilt to the side. I had to find a new location to make this camera aim where I needed it to aim. If ReoLink reads this, they only have to move the antennae’s a bit higher up on the camera back and not directly beside the swivle post. This would allow for more side to side camera adjustment. The ReoLink Support was very good, they answered my questions quickly on this Labour day weekend. Thumbs up to them.So far I love this camera, LOVE the app, so simple to use, and was pretty easy to get setup. I would highly encourage 1st time buyers to stay clear of those cheap Chinese cameras and at least consider the ReoLink brands. So far I love it! I will report back should I encounter any issues. If I don’t that means that EVERYTHING is still working great.UPDATE: Sept/2024 ~ I like my camera AND software so much I ordered a 2nd one for my shop. Wish I would’ve ordered two in the first place as now they’re offering a GREAT discount if you buy two of them PLUS an additional $$ discount on top of that. Got my 2nd one delivered free for $96.00.
