Smart wifi 1 gang switch
Ordered this to replace my timer switches in my house. I have a few timer switches for my porch lights but after recent power outages, I realized these have a disadvantage over my Bluetooth and wifi dongles; the timer switches act like clocks that run on power and then get out of sync when the power returns. My smart switches being linked to apps online realize what time it is and will come on/off at the right time, even if the power goes off briefly. One of my timer switches is in a 3 gang switch housing so I needed a 1 gang switch and this fit the bill. Has ground and power leads so should be straightforward to install, but will have to see how well the wifi works, but at least it doesn’t require a hub. Will update later if issues arise. Looks well made and comes in simple box with screws to install.
