    Easy outlet conversion for a non-electrician
    I needed to update the electrical outlet in my laundry room when I went from a gas dryer to an electric one. I bought this outlet and found it easy to replace my three prong 2000 era outlet with the four prong required of todays dryers. The four wires were all in the outlet when I took out the old receptacle and the Leviton product labeling made the change out very easy.

    These are a ‘good enough’ product and there are better, but they are more expensive. This is a good compromise with recessed terminals and an adequate strength. Ideal for a role where it won’t be subject to regular plug in and out activities.
