    Perfect!
    Perfect! It’s so hard to find super bright light bulbs in the store. I was so happy they have 4 levels of brightness settings (soft to super bright). I still like a very cool very bright light in the house!

    Bright, Dimmable, at a Reasonable Cost
    Best feature of this LED bulb is that it’s dimmable. Works quite well in interior or exterior light fixtures. Not for wet or damp location but okay if inside an exterior enclosure where the bulb will not get wet or where moisture could build up inside the light fixture. I’ve used these in our recessed can lights in the kitchen as well as our decorative outdoor light fixtures. Several of those outdoor light fixtures have an automatic 50 percent dimming mode where the light will come up to full brightness for several minutes if motion is sensed but otherwise stay at 50 percent brightness the reset of the time. The fixtures turn on and off with sunset/sunrise automatically. These bulbs work perfectly for this application. Also, they tend to last longer than the coiled compact fluorescent bulbs I’ve used in these same fixtures in the past and they don’t need to be recycled once they’ve reached the end of their light output. Our local Lowe’s has even stopped taking the CF bulbs for recycling…so now more of those CF will just end up in the landfills. Try these bulbs…even if they don’t last as long as indicated on the package…they are reasonably prices to make them worth the cost over CF bulbs and they look better too.

    A little bigger than I thought
    Well, they are as bright as they should be. Like the 3000k color temp, as good as others in the house. The bulb itself is a bit bigger than I thought. It barely fit into a ceiling light fixture I bought for it, but that’s on me. And great feature, there is no humming or buzzing. Ahhh, sound of silence. Just the way I like it.

    Wow, these are bright but a PERFECT balance between warm and cool. Not harsh but not yellow. Bulbs feel very sturdy. They work with my standard dimmer but not great. I’m ordering a compatible dimmer as listed on the Feit website. Happy so far.Update: I ordered a Lutron Skylark LED Dimmer Switch SCL-153P-WH and it works great. Lutron was a listed brand on the Feit website – just make sure you get a dimmer specifically compatible with LEDs. Not all Lutrons are. No flickering and no buzzing sounds that you get with a lot of dimmable LEDs. I’ll probably be ordering more 3000K Feit bulbs to replace any 2700 bulbs that are too yellow.

    Bright bulbs that dim smoothly
    Was looking all over for 100W equivalent LED bulbs for around the house. As we also have Lutron Caseta switched and dimmers it was also important that they be dimmable. I’ve run into so many that say they are dimmable only to find that they blink or step down when dimmed. These bulbs are the answer! Bright, perfect color temperature, great CRI, and they dim smoothly all the way from 100% to 1%. Definitely saving this item to buy more if needed.

    Oversized and Poor Qualtiy
    I bought these specifically for the high CRI and would live with their less than state-of-the-art efficiency. Unfortunately these bulbs are much larger than a standard light bulb. They will not fit in certain fixtures. They are taller and have a larger bulb diameter. About 1/2″ taller and 1/2″ larger diameter.I ordered 2 boxes of 4 and one of the bulbs doesn’t work at all: that’s a 12.5% failure rate out-of-the-box. I tried it and the other 7 in two different fixtures – all the others worked fine.THESE CAN’T BE RETURNED! Buyer Beware.They do seem to be the same brightness and color as my 3000k 100W Ecosmarts (1006 773 734) which are standard size.The Ecosmarts only use 14W compared to the Feit’s 17.5W, meaning the Feit’s design is probably a few years old and using less efficient LED’s.

    I always order FEIT 100W LED bulbs to replace old LEDs for some years (most were bought in Costco before),I like the Brightness of the Soft White light from this LED bulb.1600 lumens is really a significant improvement of brightness to my old 100W LEDs with less than 800 lumens.

    Overall much better than incandescent bulbs
    We replaced most of our incandescent bulbs with LEDs. Save electricity; save the planet! The one problem is that they dim–but no where as well as the bulbs they replaced. In two rooms we needed better dimming so left the old bulbs. Most of the time the LEDs dimmed enough. We have replaced 90% of our bulbs with LEDs.
