    Good improvised light switch
    I bought these to use as an improvised light switch for some plug-in lights in my garage attic. I zip-tied it to the wall and it has worked great, and I don’t have the worry of wearing out my lights cord or the socket from plugging them in and unplugging them to turn them on and off. The red light also helps me know when I’ve left the lights in the attic on.

    These are what I’d call “Heavy Duty”
    Have only had for a few days, so I can’t testify for long term durability or sturdiness, but they look and feel like they are “Heavy Duty” in cord thickness and positive switch on/off movement. If I need more inline switches for heavy duty use, I’ll buy these again. If you only need light duty switching (like a few hundred mA electrical load) these are a bit oversized, but they will work fine for low amperage switching. Appears to be a quality product.

    Useful but rather bulky
    Does the job reliably, but can take up sizeable space in areas where there isn’t much available. I use these to control wave-makers in my aquarium and it’s very easy to accidentally flip the switch if it bumps into something when stirring things up with the power strip in a tight space or via gravity if the face of the switch gradually sags onto something. Minor gripe, but if gone unnoticed it could potentially harm aquarium equipment if it were to be above water surface or conversely, if something needed to always be on. In any case, such incidents are easily avoided with a bit of organization and having a switch is very convenient vs. constantly plugging/unplugging into a waterproof power strip which requires a bit more force. Given the limited space where it’s used, I’m reluctant to add more of these switches as it’s heavy duty size and just one crowds the space more than preferred but since I haven’t seen many other waterproof switches, this is worthwhile to me for family safety.
