The calibrated image still has slight distortion. Will it affect color capturing?
It will not affect the color capture area and sync. It is typical for the corrected image to be slightly curved. Due to the differences in TV panels, color adjustment is required after completing the camera correction to get the closest color to TVs.
Why can the camera be installed on the top of the TV only?
The camera must be installed on top of the TV to prevent ceiling light from being reflected on the TV screen, affecting the color-picking results and obtaining a better viewing experience.
How do I reinforce the LED strip light and camera?
Press firmly when sticking the strip light and use the provided cable clips to reinforce. The extra 3M stickers can be attached to the counterweight’s silicone grip for additional attachment strength.
Do you have to have 2.4G Wi-Fi for the backlight to match and react with your TV screen?
A 2.4 G Wi-Fi connection is required to connect the light and use with Video Mode. 5G is not supported.
What TV thickness range is suitable for the 3 Lite TV light strip?
The suitable TV thickness range is 4mm-35mm.

An excellent power switching product that works nicely when you understand it.
This device switches power on and off for devices plugged into the “AUTOMATICALY SWITCHED OUTLETS” based on how much power is being drawn through the “CONTROL OUTLET” while also providing a couple “ALWAYS ON OUTLETS” as a nice convenience. For my unit with it’s sensitivity adjustment turned fully counterclockwise “-” I was able to switch devices on and off with a control load of about 7 Watts minimum and not less. The LED lamp illuminating my pictures, for instance, only uses 3 Watts so it would not be able to act as a master controlling device for anything being switched. Only devices that use 7 Watts or more can be used to control things. I found the limit by hooking up a tunable soldering iron and started turning the dial, finding that threshold. Below 7 Watts and it gets ignored, above and it can turn the switched devices on and off. (15W – 60W is the adjustable range in the specs) The trick is get that threshold solidly between the idle wattage of the control device and it’s active wattage and you are golden. :-)Other users seem to have reported flashing on and off which would be very possible if the sensitivity adjustment wattage is close to the actual power of the controlling device while it is on and if the switched devices were using sufficient power to effect the voltage (and power) of all other devices in that circuit. Control device comes on….Switched devices come on and sag the voltage a bit…power through the control device dips (because of the voltage dips) below the switching threshold and the switched device is turned off. The voltage dip ends and the power going through the control port returns to normal, above the threshold and then the switched devices are turned back on again….over and over again. This “problem” (or amusement 🙂 ) should be manageable by adjusting that sensitivity control…why it’s there in the first place :-)Smart Strip is the first (and only) manufacturer that I discovered to include a user accessible sensitivity adjustment to it’s power-saver power strips. I plan to buy more as need arrives since the features and quality I need seem to be nicely present.

Works as expected; amazing value
I was skeptical that this power strip would work so well for the price, since this is a feature I’ve found myself wanting in so many situations. …Like turning on the vacuum when you start a power tool…Or turning on an amplifier when a preamp is turned on.Well this power strip does it at a really low price and while not feeling chintzy.

Must adjust the sensitivity (?) control
When I first set it up with a computer plugged in to the control outlet, the other outlets did not come on (monitor and speakers). As I was about to return it, I noticed a small Phillips screw on the back with +/- markings. I turned it to the + side, but I saw no change. Then I turned it all the way to the opposite – side and the strip performed exactly as expected. If you experience issues with it, try adjusting that setting first. IMHO, this is dumb, but it is what it is.

Works for my audio gear
I’m an audiophile and I use my PC as a source to drive my audiogear. I got tired of having turn my audio gear off and on every single day when I turned my PC off and on.I bought this Smart Strip and was worried that some of my gear didn’t draw enough power to trigger the autoswitch.Works perfect. When I turn my PC off my audiogear turns off, when I turn it on my gear turns on.

Doesn’t work
I thought some of the plugs would “on” when you needed them so I plugged a charger in that location. It’s not on. I plugged a lamp on in that location. It not on. Don’t buy.

EZ fix for a dificult problem.
I wanted to add a cooling fan to my Audio Video Receiver. I chose not to use the USB port for power, fearing damage to the AVR from too much power being drawn. This Power strip was a perfect solution. Using the 1 always ON Control outlet to power the AVR and one of the 2 Slave outlets with a power adapter for the fan.The stand by power draw from the AVR was not enough to effect the switch on. There is a sensitivity adjustment to use if the stand by power caused the slave outlets to power on. As shipped, adjustment was not necessary on my application.A side benefit is the Fan power adapter is OFF, not drawing any energy when the system is on stand by or off. It could also be used for the backlighting of the TV or a subwoofer etc. Used on a desktop, it could turn on several devices when the main one was turned on. Many Power adapters (wall warts) would not have to be consuming energy while the control device was on stand by or off. There are also 2 unswitched outlets also to be used conventionally for things that need to be separately controlled. If I had use for another one, I would quickly get another.

Works as Expected Without Any Adjustment
I’m using this power strip for my TV setup, with the TV as the master device and my Yamaha amplifier, and DVD and BluRay players as slaves. This setup allows me to automatically power down my 65″ OLED TV along with the amplifier when I shut off the TV.I live in close proximity to a powerful FM Radio transmitter with 50,000 W of power, approximately 1/3 of a mile away. In the past, leaving the amplifier on with no input would result in a faint radio signal being audible through the speakers during the quiet nighttime hours. However, with this power strip, that interference is now a thing of the past. One interesting aspect of this power strip is its behavior. When I turn on my TV, the amplifier responds immediately. However, when turning it off, there is a slight delay. This delay tends to be longer if the TV has been on for an extended period. Occasionally, after several hours of TV viewing, the strip takes about 10 minutes or more to power off all the connected devices, but it always does the job.I highly recommend this power strip to friends and others looking for a useful and budget-friendly solution.
